"The staff here is very accommodating, professional, and warm. We were greeted very well. The rooms are very nice, close to all restaurants and amenities, and a very short walk to the bus stop. We had minor issues with our hot tub and they acted on it and fixed the issue immediately. Would recommend and stay here again"

"Our experience with Amaya Selection of Villas in Oia was extremely stressful and disappointing. Before arrival, communication was very poor. I accidentally booked the wrong dates and simply requested a date change. Expedia later confirmed the dates had successfully been changed, but the property repeatedly ignored messages and later claimed they had no record of the change until another hotel staff member helped us contact them directly. Check-in was very disorganized. The location provided on Expedia was incorrect, and the website location did not lead to reception either. We wandered through Oia with luggage until another hotel employee helped us contact them. We were then told to wait near the post office for someone to guide us to the room. The employee who walked us there was kind, but the villa itself looked very different from the photos. The hot tub filters were yellow, outdoor cushions were stained/ripped, there was an empty shampoo wrapper in the shower, and food debris remained in the sink strainer. Most concerning, after housekeeping visited, a key was left hanging outside our room where anyone could access it. Finally, transportation to the airport that had been confirmed for 4 AM never arrived. Another taxi driver nearby was shocked by the situation and kindly helped us get to the airport himself. Several locals in Santorini were incredibly kind to us, but unfortunately this property caused unnecessary stress throughout our stay."

"Excellent property and view from our room was fantastic. Yes, there is lot of steps...be prepared for that. There are porters to carry luggages to room and back to transfer. We took Esperas transfer service and it was worry free. Maria at the recption helped us to plan for our day trip in Santorini and was very accomodating with our requests.....Nothing can beat the experience....would love to stay here again in our next trip."

"For a first-time visitor to Greece, this property may appear luxurious and comes with a premium price tag. Its location is definitely convenient — right next to the Oia bus stop, with the famous Oia domes, mini markets, and many Instagram-worthy spots just a few meters away. However, the overall experience felt more like staying in an overpriced Airbnb rather than a true luxury hotel. Hospitality was underwhelming, and there were no thoughtful touches for birthdays or special occasions. The jacuzzi, which was supposed to be the highlight of the room, was not clean. Privacy can also be an issue unless you book the topmost room. Another disappointment was the lack of breakfast availability, even for guests staying in their high-end rooms. Also worth noting: the hotel is located on the opposite side of Santorini’s main caldera view. That said, there were a few positives. The cleaning staff were extremely kind and helpful, the room size was spacious, and the bathroom was exceptionally large. Overall, despite the excellent location, the experience did not justify the price, and I would not choose to stay here again. "
