Ogigayatsu Packages (Flight + Hotel)

Fantastic Location, Great Amenities, and an Authentic Japanese Experience! We absolutely loved our stay at OTHER SPACE Asakusa Hotel! Located just one block from the famous Sensō-ji Temple, it's surrounded by charming streets, restaurants, shops, and an authentic Japanese atmosphere. The rooftop also offers beautiful views! The rooms were spotless, with excellent shower pressure and a high-tech Japanese toilet with a heated seat! 😀 We appreciated the FREE 24/7 washer/dryer machines and complimentary toiletries, slippers, tea, and other essentials available at the front desk., and the free Wi-Fi was a huge bonus! Transportation was convenient and affordable! Subway and train stations are within walking distance. Even with my wheelchair, we explored Tokyo using the subway - about $2 for the 30-minute ride to Shinjuku and Shibuya. We also took a direct 75 minute train to the airport about $12 p/p saving a fortune compared to taxis! NOTE: Purchase at the airport a Welcome Suica red card - it makes paying for transportation and purchases easy. You just tap in and out of the transit stations. The staff were wonderful, even arranging taxis and communicating our destinations to drivers. A 7-Eleven with an Int'l Bank ATM is also just one block away - explore all the goodies they have as well. Overall, an excellent hotel offering great value, convenience, and a wonderful Japanese experience. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!

Brilliant location and great room.

Great hotel in the great location. 10 min walk from Shinjuku station. The room was exactly as on the photos: it was large by the local standards, with a wardrobe and drawers to store clothes and enough space for three suitcase. The beds were comfortable. In the evenings we could watch the light show on the Municipal Government building, which is just across the road from the hotel. Breakfast was great, large selection of freshly cooked dishes, frest vegetables and fruit. I would recommend the hotel and the location.
