Within the old walled city, this charming guesthouse is a joy to behold. Comfortable beds, quiet rooms, easy to walk to restaurants, being in the town allows a walk along the ramparts st sunset: just magical. Breakfast was great, too!

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful guesthouse! The people were very friendly, the bed was comfortable, and the breakfast was fantastic! Just an FYI, parking is a bit of a challenge and Google maps wasn't very helpful. But other than that, we loved the place and we loved Obidos!

Lovely authentic house run by the grandson of original owner. Great location just below the pousada. Parking is not that close so best to bring an overnight bag to walk up thru the main narrow street on cobblestones.

A fantastic, beautiful place to stay within the Castle walls. The staff was outstanding. The breakfast was delicious. I do totally disagree with one person opinion that stayed in Room 1. I stayed in Room 1 and NO a person in a car CAN NOT reach their hand from their car into your window. The Guest House is so beautiful and the staff was super friendly helpful. A great place to stay.

Old charm all around!

The location is superb - at the top of the town, close of the Castelo and the ramparts! The B&B is "old charm", full of characters with an older style that is so befitting of this old town. The room was great in that it had a window way up, so we could leave it open all night (since no AC) with no fear of any "visitor!" The breakfast was decent, and the welcome was very friendly! It was not easy to understand how to get there - meandering roads outside the walls of the town, and especially where to park, but it all worked out with our ability to drag our suitcases on cobblestones. Would love to stay there again - town and B&B are very special!

Friendly Helpful Staff

Inn was nice, but room was small. If staying here recommend you not bring anything larger than an overnight bag as cars cannot access the location. We had been traveling for 3 weeks and had larger bags. Our Uber driver dropped us off outside the walls and we had a 10-minute walk uphill over cobble stones dragging bags. But the woman who was on duty the next morning was very helpful and arranged for a taxi and the driver walked up to the inn and carried our bags down to his car. It was expensive - 19 euros plus tip.
