The hotel is really close to the airport, the staff was really friendly and helpful. The swimming pool was really nice to enjoy the sun. Te rooms are comfortable, quite and clean. There was also a really nice Garten around the pool.
Hotel and staff were lovely and they have a fabulous pool, but the toilet in my room didn't work very well and I'd definitely suggest you rent an ebike off site. Their daily ebike rental rate is a bit more expensive than others and after paying for a full day rental, my bike had faulty battery gauge and the battery conked out after a half day. I walked it back to the hotel and they refunded half my money, but I had much better luck when I rented elsewhere. This is important, because unless you hire a guide/taxi, you need an ebike.
We booked a superior room for 3 nights, but we had to change due to the high temperature of the room despite having air conditioning. Obviously paying more. The new room was quite noisy, as they were repairing a room nearby, and had no hot water in the shower. The internet did not work half of the time, and when it worked it was very very slow and intermittent. Breakfast wasn´t buffet. The only two positive things were the kindness of the staff and the pool area. We moved to Arthawka hotel, which is by far much better, for the same price. I would not stay again in Kaday Aung
Was great place to come back to after a hot day exploring. The pool provided great relief. Restaurant is great with free nightly puppet show. Large market in town centre. Lots of local restaurants, try check out sunset restaurant over river. Magic.
We booked this hotel for 2 nights. The first day we arrived at 9pm after a long drive from Mandalay, and the restaurant of the hotel is already closed which is understandable. The hotel though is located in quite a dark area. Technically, it's not too far from the main road where we spotted a few restaurants. However, the path from the hotel to the main road is quite scary to walk at night. We told the girl at the reception that tomorrow we needed to depart very early to see the sunrise, so we needed breakfast boxes. She said sure. In the morning, we met her again and we ended up getting no breakfast boxes when we asked for it, and her facial expression showed clearly that she forgot. It's very disappointing.
We liked the exterior based on the pictures we saw online. However, the room itself is not nice at all and is so old and worn. The bed sheets has stains, and the carpet (which I has no clue why they put carpet there) is so dirty. We could spot so many hair (of other not ours based on the colors). I wonder if they ever vacuumed it before we checked in. The doorknob was broken. In the shower is no place to put shower gels and shampoo properly (so we needed to put on the floor). The room smelled unpleasantly. There is no kettle and hairdryer setup, but we could ask for it. The staffs that we encountered barely speak English. The towels and pillows smell very bad. After the ruined night and disappointing morning, we decided not to return there for the second night we paid.
Buffet is prima.
The wifi was not working during the entire stay and neither the toilet in our room. My sister had to flush it the old way. The Pool and hotel are beautiful though. And the service is excellent especially at the restaurant. They are very helpful. The menu is huge and the food is pretty good.
All the exterior accommodation are very nice, but the rooms are fine! But for the price you spect a better mattress ( so bed it's a little hard) and during Monsoon season the rooms are very hot even with a/c

Great staff who helped us with everything we asked for. Easy to rent ebikes onsite. Reasonable food prices. The property is on the northern edge of town, but it was a nice walk to get to most things.
The room did have a few hiccups. Good fridge, but poor AC. To the point that we could have used a mosquito net the last night. And the times I tried to take a shower there was no hot water. My wife had better luck.
Overall, a pleasant stay.
Friendly service, nice pool area, sleepy town, really wanted somewhere safe and quiet while exploring temples during the day. Rooms are clean and bathroom was better than my hotel in Yangon. Dusty city so came in handy.
It's was an amazing experience. I would come back again.

Great Service
My husband and I really enjoyed this hotel. The staff was really helpful in getting us a last minute guide-who was very good. The room had a cool platform bed. The walls were a bit thin, but it didn't bother us at all. The buffet breakfast was wonderful. We'd definitely stay here again.
Colazione abbondante.

Great Value
On the outskirts of New Bagan this hotel is located away from the dusty madness of downtown. The room was reasonably clean and the staff like everyone in Myanmar were absolutely amazing. The breakfast buffet was somewhat limited but adequate. Because the pool is shaded during the hottest parts of the day the water temperature remains a little cool. We would stay here again.
