"Great hotel in Zanzibar !! Wonderful rooms and villas, delicious food (breakfast and dinner), fresh fruit and freshly made meals. Quiet environment, lovely swimming pool and friendly staff. Hotel is clean, very well located and installations are beautiful (very authentic). We just loved our time there !!"

"Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The food was decent. The quality itself didn’t feel amazing. I think they missed chances for excellent dining such as carving tables or omelet station. They could’ve had more selection and it was difficult to get into the restaurants. The hotel itself is newer very clean and well-maintained especially coming from Stonetown. It’s perfectly nice for a Westerner. I wish there was more entertainment. There was some nights that there was basically no entertainment and there’s not a lot of amenities for entertainment such as multiple pool tables or club, etc. The overall vibe was laid back. The beach itself was nice with plenty of options for guests and multiple pools. There were a few kids and mainly travelers from Europe and South Africa. I thought security would stop local vendors from hounding you but they didn’t. Overall I didn’t regret my stay but I might look elsewhere next time."

"Great location right on the water. Very well priced for a great experience in Nungwi. Nothing bad to say about the place. Beds are pretty firm, but thsts pretty standard for Zanzibar and most Southern African places (that are not 5 stars and super expensive). Would definitely come back again"

"My stay was an amazing experience thanks to the lovely stuff, including -- but not limited to -- the owner Mo, Mwana, Chelsea, and Regina. They provided top-notch service with a smile and made me feel part of the family. I also loved the upper deck, where we could grab a bite, just chill or watch the FiFA World Cup. A truly unforgettable experience. I'll be back!🙂"

"We had a wonderful stay! The room was very clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help with any questions we had. The ocean view was absolutely beautiful and made our stay even more relaxing. We also enjoyed spending time at the pool, which was clean and well-kept. Overall, this was a lovely place to stay, and we would definitely recommend it to other travelers looking for a relaxing and enjoyable vacation."

"The staff here were so kind and accommodating!! Saadia and Julia were so friendly! We had to check in really late and they helped us arrange transportation from the airport and someone was there to let us into our room. We were just steps away from the beach and could easily access multiple restaurants. I would definitely recommend staying here!!"

"Property grounds were nice. Rooms are a bit dated. The TV and telephone in our room did not work. Manager at reception was very accommodating and made our stay much better. The massages were excellent. Highly recommend them.! Wifi is awful! Love the balconies! The other downside is the beach, the beach is beautiful but you have to pay 25$ for 2 chairs and umbrella every day if you want to be on the beach. Otherwise they do have beach chairs on man made beach near infinity pool. Just depends on your preference! Food is ok. Nothing to rave about but something for everyone!"
Royal Zanzibar Beach Resort All Inclusive

"Everything about this property was exceptional but there is only one thing that needs improvement. The Check-in process. This resort can be booked using different booking agencies such as Expedia. At the check-in counter, we had three different check-ins going on but hotel was not able to locate the check-in easily. They had to make multiple phone calls to find their booking. Despite having all the proof and evidence, they could not locate the booking in their system. This was happening at 11:00 PM at night. I booked mine using Expedia so mine was easy to locate fortunately. My family members used different agencies to book and it took them multiple phone calls and almost 2 hours (in the middle of night) to locate their booking. That whole experience could have been improved. Imagine you had a long 8-9 hours flight, went through the crappy and unnecessary lengthy Tanzania immigration process and finally came to the resort to start the vacation and you still have to go though 2 hours long of check-in process simply because resort cannot see the booking in their side. And the customer who booked has all the paper trail, email chains and payment proof that they have booked it. Other than that, this resort, staff, food, location, service, amenities, etc, everything is exceptional."
