"This is a wonderful place to stay when you visit Badlands National Park. The motel is very nice, the breakfast offers delicious options, and the staff is extraordinary! The breakfast manager is very kind and personable! We enjoyed our stay!"

"Nice rooms, terrible service. The front desk was never staffed. Check in time is 3pm and no one was there to check us in. We had to wait over an hour along with other guests waiting to check in. Breakfast was awful, the milk was sour. No staff available to check us out either. Stay elsewhere, not worth the hassle as they are clearly very understaffed or poorly managed."

"I had a screw-up with Hotels.com and was double booked for a one-night stay. I wasn’t able to cancel one of the reservations nor was I able to receive a refund. That being said, the ladies at the Badlands Hotel worked with me in this situation. I ended up staying an extra night and they kept me in the same room. They were so gracious and helpful. It all worked out and I got to explore the Badlands at a meandering pace. Five stars to the staff of Badlands Hotel and Campground. And the facilities have laundry which is great."
