"The hotels location was great and the atmosphere the same. The only glitch was the toilet being about 3 inches from the wall requiring one to sit sideways? I'd also check the schedule and size of cruise ships in port during your stay. No wonder Europeans are revolting at these floating cities. Perhaps some cultures walk 5 abreast down a sidewalk but it's ridiculous in Charlottetown!"

"Beautiful spot on the river although it’s remote. 2 very nice golf courses. Pub was good for dinner. We enjoyed it more than the restaurant where service was not good. It was a shame that the kayaks were not available to rent as they closed after Labour Day."

"The property is beautiful and expansive with some unlisted bonuses such as a walking trail and beautiful views. The room was very clean but, to be picky, the area behind the TV needed to be cleaned…those out of the way areas (move the couch, under the bed etc.). The outdoor hot tub was a great amenity as were the BBQ’s and fire pits. Overall, we were pleasantly surprised with property….it was beautiful. We were sad that we were only staying one night as a glass of wine in their bar with the views would have been awesome."

"The Winds motel was conveniently located for a quick drive from the ferry (we came from NS). We got in a little late, and the staff was super helpful to ensure we got access to our room. They also had helpful suggestion on local places to eat or visit. The room was a good size with a large TV, a fridge, a microwave, and a coffee maker."
