"Location is wonderful. I noticed some upgrades over the years. Still. The tv unit was old and distorting the picture. The bathroom was very small and the towels were small. Nowadays, the quality of the place is lower than the price"

"The appearance from the outside will leave you wondering why you booked this hotel. The renovations on the second floor are up to date. It would be nice to have staff on hand for an early check out. The lobby doors are locked so you must find a side exit. Our shampoo and body wash containers were not refilled and unfortunately only noticed in the morning. I am sure once all renovations are done inside and outside this will be a great hotel."

"The room looked ok but outside no shade, could not sit out too hot, parking lot in poor shape, looked run down on outside. We didn't stay here because of that, went to Manitoulin Inn & Conference Center, much better ammenities , pool, nice property, same price. I guess we lost out on our money for the room, sad."

(KEEP IN MIND THAT MOSQUITOS, etc ARE ALSO PART OF COTTAGE COUNTRY, BUT, THIS IS SIMPLY TO REMIND YOU TO BE PREPARED--NOT TO COMPLAIN OR TO SUGGEST THAT THE OUTDOOR CRITTERS WERE ANY BETTER OR WORSE THAN ELSEWHERE IN ONTARIO!) WE HAD A LOVELY TWO-NIGHT STAY AND ARE CURRENTLY EXPLORING THE OPTION OF HEADING...

"Does not look like pictures on web. Pictures are old (rotary phones in them). Room was clean but really dated. Beds were not comfortable. Ok if you only require a place to sleep for the night."
