Staff were very nice and helpful. The rooms were clean however both rooms had the smell of smoke. Even though no smoking for both rooms but that is probably because some people feel entitled. About 20 minute easy ride to the beach. Free breakfast offered was nice (make own waffles). Suggest listing Wi-Fi password in the rooms.

Everything about the property, the staff, the breakfast, etc were good. The issue was the very strong cleaning smell in the rooms. The first room we got, the smell was overwhelming. The window was open so I'm guessing they knew that. We changed rooms and the chemically cleaning smell was still there but was not as strong so we kep the room. The smell was enough that when we got home, our clothes still smelled of it. My wonder is if they are using something that strong, what are they covering up. Again, friendly staff, nice breakfast, but strong cleaning smell in the rooms.

The room was disgusting, it smelt like smoke, the carpet was moldy and felt like it was wet. The bathroom had a little bit on mold on the ceiling. There was wall paper peeling off the walls. There were like random bugs all over the room (no bed bugs tho). However the funniest part of the entire room, was that the bathroom lock was mounted inside out😂 So if u wanted to, you could lock people inside of the bathroom, instead of keeping them out. That basically describes the place as a whole.

We had a Jacuzzi suite, and I must say there was plenty of room in the Jacuzzi for two people. The water was hot and the jets were forceful. Which I thought was great. Unfortunately, the shower, hot water was not very hot and it took a long time for it to get warm. No hot water in the sink in the bathroom so shaving wasn’t great. The breakfast is OK as long as you like waffles not much of anything else.

The room smelled like smoke when we arrived. They were accommodating to give another room but it was far from the second room we had booked and with kids that wasn’t feasible. The floors were sticky and everything felt damp in the room. Checked under the bed to make sure nothing was left behind and found an old toothbrush from a previous guest. Breakfast was very limited and ran out of waffle mix, when others tried to get someone no one came out of the office even though they were sitting right there to request they refill the mix.

the property seemed nice, and the lady that helped get us checked in was so friendly and accommodating, however the problem started once we entered the room. there were dead bugs on the floor in the bathroom, and the room smelled wet and musty. The worst part though was that the toilet in the room did not flush. I told the front desk the next day and the man sent a housekeeper to "fix" it, it was not fixed and we had to use the communal bathrooms in the lobby when we had to go bc of the issue.

One front desk person wasn't nice to us, the shuttle bus didn't pick us up from foxwoods one of the manager at foxwoods saw us sitting for a long time and saw the bus leave us and help us out come off his duty and took us to hilltop inn, also there was no microwave in the room and no pool although it was shown.

The rooms had a moldy smell so bad I had to spray body spray to be able to even spend the night.The bed was comfortable. I have stayed before I think with different owners and thought it was a much better place to stay.You can tell they are letting it go down hill and not taking care of it they need some maintance help and maybe replace carpet bathroom could use new caulking etc.
