Clean but dated room. Annoyingly you have to request cutlery and plates from reception, which was closed when I arrived. Little IGA across the road is handy but couldn't eat the salad I'd bought. Appreciated the lounge in room!! A nice quiet spot to break a journey.

What a lovely art deco maintained hotel! All fitted out in appropriate style. We didn't eat there, but the food smelled terrific when we arrived in the late evening. Very friendly staff and a most comfortable room. Loved the residents' sitting/dining room upstairs.
