"Nice resort"

"We arrived here for a five night stay, we booked a villa next to the pool. Check in was ok but not what we’ve come to expect in Thailand, no welcome drink or cold towel here, or even a smile. We arrived about 45 minutes before check in time, but had to wait as our room was still being cleaned, so we waited by the pool. The pool is good, plenty of loungers and parasols. Our villa was ok, the bed is quite low, the pillows though are exceptionally hard. Good shower, bathroom amenities provided are quite basic, the bathroom did have a drain smell too. We thought we’d try out the restaurant the day we arrived, we soon realised this was a mistake, I’ve never waited so long for a club sandwich and beer, and when it eventually arrived, the sandwich was half the size served in other places, this put us off using the restaurant again. Breakfast was quite basic, others have commented that the breakfast was mainly Thai, but I don’t know anyone who eats pasta carbonara for breakfast, there is some stewed strong filter coffee, fruit, orange juice, bread for toasting, although not all the toasters are working, eggs that appear to have been fried hours ago, along with cold pancakes. The staff aren’t particularly friendly apart from the girls cleaning the rooms, who we rewarded each morning with a small gift and a tip. Just so others know the ‘no smoking ‘ isn’t enforced, having had our air space marred by the smoker in the villa next door as she obviously couldn’t read the sign."

"The staff was courteous. Breakfast buffet had good variety of options. The room I booked, “pool villa beach front”, showed on Expedia the room right in front of the beach. It turns out there is a road between the front of the room and the beach. This is deceiving information and photos which should not be allowed to be on Expedia. Also the pool had a plastic bottle, extremely visible for housekeeping to have spotted it and clean it. A 4 1/2 star hotel should not do this type of deceiving tricks to customers. "

"Yes the room was clean & the staff were incredible in all areas of the hotel . Incredible value . Food was delicious & the beer was cold . Very happy . I always stay here when in Cha-am. It is in a great position in Cha-am.👍😎🍻"

"The hotel was great, the staff lovely. I was up-graded to a balcony room over looking the street which sadly was 'either side' lined with small bars and massarge parlors. The noise from one of these small bars was deafening untill the early hours. Following day I changed room to the 'quiet' rear of the hotel. Breakfast searved in the hotels cafe very close by was really good, coffee, fried eggs, sausage, toast, jam and fresh fruit. Thai breakfast was also served."
