We stayed for four nights in the Thai Life homestay in a Dusita Villa overlooking the central lake. The villa itself was roomy and well equipped with a firm king sized bed, air conditioning, a kettle and microwave oven. The windows all had insect screens. The shower was outside in a private enclosure. One of the best features was a large veranda looking out over the lake. Ours faced west so caught the sun in the evening. Unfortunately too quiet, not enough people and no diving nearby. BUT a great beach side resort for those who want a relaxing stay.

Stayed for 12 nights in April 2015, the hotel is beautiful and definately value for money. The breakfast buffet is great, pleanty of choice and has everything. We ate in Platoo on the beach almost every day, great food, friendly service and reasonable price. Also Pim's Cafe which is round the corner from the main entrance, fantastic food and service..always fresh food.

After a miserable bus ride, the staff here were incredibly welcoming and helpful. They dealt with are booking accidentally through two different sites and made us feel very welcome. We haven’t had this good of service for this rate anywhere in Thailand! Also - room, pool and beach are gorgeous!

As it still is experiencing a soft opening phase, Le Menara offers brand new facilities. The main feature remains the over 100 meter swimming pool. The hotel offers a free activity everyday from yoga, cycling, beach walking, Thai boxing and even massage lessons or Thai cooking class. Nice buildings with well designed rooms. Nice view from the main restaurant to the beach. Beautiful, large swimming pool. Chairs around the swimming pool, under the pine trees and on the beach. Very quiet beach. A few hundred meters away local restaurants, bars and massage shops on the beach and a few other hotels. Beachbar at the hotel. Good food and great breakfast. The hotel is approx. 12 km north of Khao Lak. Taxi cost 300 Bath one way.

A beautiful hotel with amazing staff who did everything they could to ensure we had a lovely stay. The rooms and grounds are immaculate and the breakfast is probably one of the best we have had anywhere in the world. Very special!

Had a fabulous stay at riverside lodge. All staff very friendly and helpful. I can't remember them all but Joke, Soy and Kae were especially good with us. Lovely relaxing setting in the middle of nature yet with a luxurious feel. Food was great and hot, would totally recommend.
