"The villa and pool were absolutely amazing and I was lucky to have my friends staying in the villa so I could share company and food with them. The annex where I was staying was clean and had a comfortable bed, a fridge and some supplies. The bathroom (in the Trullo) was big but smelt musty at tines even though I kept the windows and door open. There was no hot water on my last day. "This is a beautiful old villa set in acres of olive trees. One couldn't ask for a more tranquil setting. The hotel is brand new and is showing signs of some work to be done. The roads are pretty rough and could use some better maintenance. This is important expecially at night when driving in and out can be a bit sketchy. We stayed in the Trulla house which is a charming traditional house away a bit from the main property. Watch your head on the low stone doorways! Overall, in a year or so, once they work out the kinks this will be a wonderful property. The surrounding area is lovely as well and there are two one-star Michelin restaurants a few kilometers in either direction."
