Comfortable beds, clean room, quiet at night for our little family and very lovely accommodating staff. There was a couple of cockroaches in the men’s bathroom/showers and they were unclean too. Main corridor upstairs was a little smelly (fishy), but great otherwise. There is off-street parking out back - first in, first serve.
Receptive, welcoming & hospitable staff.
Above and beyond accommodation.
Appealing and good menu.
Competitive prices. Value for money

Got directed to a room, check in staff nice, room was easy to access with no dramas apart from general common space cleanliness upstairs. Went into my room and there were rubbish bags, empty cigarette boxes, leftover alcohol/rubbish, a messy bed, and dead moths. The room had been like that a while and nobody has checked on it. I went back downstairs and the staff apologised and gave me a code for a different room. This one was much nicer, clearly ready for a guest. A few hours later someone opens my door as I’m about to leave for this evening. They were told they’d booked this room and were given the door code by the staff downstairs. I had to go down again to fix it up. Aside from the shared bathroom spaces that I avoided entirely (with good reason), the room was nice and functioned as advertised.
The staff are lovely, and the downstairs area is really great, with good vibes good food and great setup, I just think the hotel part of the young street hotel needs a little more TLC. I hope managers see this and it helps them identify ways of improving cleanliness and organisation/coordination.

Check-in was good. We were allowed early check-in. The room was ok but the toilet was not well cleaned in all 3 days of our stay. Too loud music from the pub below.
Overpriced for what is was - it was not obvious when booking that bathroom and toilet facilities were shared. bedside lamp was broken and lying on floor. However the beds were comfy and clean and it was a convenient location for our night out. Would not stay there again at that price and it was too noisy (until 12 when music stopped) but this was expected being a pub.

Room was covered in bugs and cockroaches. Stains everywhere from where they have been previously squashed.
