"I recently visited Colombo for 5 days in October 2025 and stayed at 50 by the Sea - Had an excellent stay there and all my expectations were met - at times went above the expectations also. The apartment looks very new, is very well maintained and most importantly, its extremely clean. "We walked in an apartment with dust and dirt on the floor, mould behind toilet door, mould on kitchen glass tray. They said this apartment was closed for some time. Housekeeping staff should be trained to check on details. Would not recommend for families who are particular about cleanliness. The management needs to take feedback seriously without giving excuses for lapses."

"Importantly the floor - beautiful white floor tiles 2ftX2ft were everywhere and gave a very impressive upscale appearance. The furniture was moderate, and the staff were friendly and courteous. They could improve the TV by adding two more Sri Lankan channels, there were too many channels with foreign languages no local guests understands.
