"Wow. What a lovely, modern hotel. I was thrilled with our room. It was very comfortable and homey. So clean and tastefully decorated. Especially loved the second restaurant on the top floor; great place for late night cocktails and snacks. Highly recommended."

"I stay here on occasion when the hotels close to Mall of Africa are booked out. Especially if you're here for a business week the Ellipse appartments is a really good alternative. Easy quick walk to Mall of Africa if one needs something. Safe compound. There's even a completely fine restaurant right one the premises (Olives & Plates). I also like the fact that they have a laundry machine in the appartment which is hand if I am on a longer trip. The one and only thing you need to know is that as...

"I arrived and they didn’t know that I was staying over. I had to check in to the hospital the next morning and there wasn’t even toiletpaper. I left immediately and booked into another place. Personnel at gate was super unfriendly. I lost my money because virtual agent wasn’t able to refund me. Will never use this app to book again."

"I was very happy and very satisfied with the hotel. The staffs were very helpful. The hotel was very safe. Thank you very much, for making my stay a pleasant experience."

"WONDERFUL PLACE!!!! IRIS & GIGI ARE SO WELCOMING AND ATTENTIVE TO ONE'S EVERY NEED. THEY COULD NOT BE MORE ACCOMMODATING. OUR AIRPORT TRANSFERS WERE ARRANGED, PRIVATE JOHANNESBURG TOUR/DRIVER ARRANGED, BEAUTIFUL BREAKFAST INCLUDED, LOVELY RESTAURANTS CLOSE BY. ABSOLUTELY PERFECT!!!!"

"Great stay!"

"I’ve visited Johannesburg on business 6 times since 2019 and have never considered staying anywhere else. Most recent stay was a full 2 weeks. The staff is phenominal. The service also phenominal. The dining and room service menus are very high caliber in every aspect. Swimming pool and grounds are beautiful."

"Our stay was very enjoyable. The rooms were very clean and the beds comfortable. The breakfast was very good and I appreciated that we had the option to do a lighter buffet instead of the full meat, beans, eggs etc . The hostess Nokothula was very helpful and attentive. The proximity to Montecasino was very convenient and was safe to walk to. I would certainly go back."
