Absolutely disgusting

AVOID at all costs! Hotel offers airport transfer - I messaged 3 times, not only did no one come to the airport they had no booking (despite pre paymen) 3 am, not expected, boy that didn’t speak English, more than terrible! Eventually given a filthy room, you wouldn’t put a dog in it! The door didn’t shut let alone lock! Couldn’t even buy a bottle of water, no restaurant as advertised, no breakfast. Absolutely the worst. NOT FIT FOR HUMANS

Worst Hotel Ever! Dont Go!

This was the worst hotel during my 2 weeks in Sri Lanka! I arrived very late at night (all direct flights from HK will arrive after midnight), and there was 2hr delay. I emailed the hotel before my flight to confirm that i will arrive late at night. I asked about the price for airport pick up before, but I had my own driver, so I didn't need at end. When arrived at the hotel, it was completely dark. I tried to call the hotel, no one picked up. The office was closed and dark. After 10min, someone called back. My driver talked to the owner in their own language, so my driver translated their conversation to me after. The owner told my driver that the hotel sent a driver to the airport and waited until midnight and I didn't show up, so they left. But my original flight wont arrive until midnight, not to mention that I emailed them about my delay already. And I didn't tell them to pick me up anyways. And, the owner told our driver that the hotel was fully booked! I booked 2 x triple rooms for 4 adults. How can he overbooked?! Even he thought we didn't show up (which was a lie), I dont believe someone will walk in after midnight and took our rooms anyways. He said he will come back from his party to help us, but he called back after another 15min and said he found us another hotel (quite far away) and when we arrived, the new hotel was told that we only had 3 adults and need 1 triple room, and no more room. So he gave us a staff room only, which wasn't what I paid for.

Efficient and clean, ideal for airport transit

I was only in Colombo for one night while in transit with an overnight layover; the Bridge Hotel Negombo was perfect for this. It's no frills and nothing fancy but it's inexpensive, efficient, very clean and a 10-minute drive from the airport. The owners are very kind and are happy to drive you to and from the airport, even at 5am. Wifi works just fine as well. It isn't near any shops or downtown facilities but ideal for airport access.

Erste Nacht in Sri Lanka, nah am Flughafen

Wir waren zu Beginn eine Rundreise für die erst Nacht nach dem langen Flug in diesem Hotel. Es eignet sich super, um sich an die Wärme zu gewöhnen. Die Zimmer sind groß und verfügen über eine Klimaanlage. Eine kleine Terrasse bietet einen schönen Blick ins Grüne. Die Gastgeber sind sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Sie helfen auch gerne bei der Tourenplanung. Einzig der Fluglärm und das Gefühl, dass überall noch gebaut und gearbeitet wird, fielen uns negativ auf.

New, very clean, excellent to be close to airport.

This small hotel is very new, large room, very clean. There is nothing in the area, but it is a perfect place to be close to the airport. There is a restaurant close to the hotel (although it was closed the say we went). The couple managing it is very helpful, they can prepare simple lunches/dinners.

Owners are wonderful!

Stayed on way to and from the airport. Upon our arrival, we were very hungry. The owner said his wife will make rice for us...it was the best! They helped us secure THE MOST AMAZING driver for our journey. They were very pleasant and made us feel very welcomed to their hotel and their country.

Very convenient near airport

This hotel is for late arrival people. It is very well located near airport and airport shuttle is free which is very nice. Bed is king size. It is good for couples.
