"It's a clean place the people are very helpful and friendly that own it. The grass out in front of the cabins needs attention especially because of being dog friendly. Small dogs have problems walking through uncut high grass. The owners do try to help you with anything you might need. Would I stay here again, yes if I come this way again."

"This resort is in a beautiful location with easy access to Lake Lure and with excellent amenities for a family stay. The townhouse where we stayed was spacious, clean, comfortable and close to the amenities by car. The beds were especially comfy. My only gripe is the thin basic provisions of toiletries and kitchen staples. The property can use some updates, such as a smart TV with streaming, fresher and more modern decor, furniture, etc."

"We loved the Inn and will definitely be back! The in-room jacuzzi was so wonderful and it was spacious with plenty of room for our things. The only reason I removed a star is because the bed was beautiful but VERY uncomfortable. Definitely needing some mattress upgrades. But other than that, everything was wonderful."

"We stayed there for our 55th wedding anniversary in mid-August. The staff was excellent. The beds were very firm and so were the pillows. I wish I would have brought my own bed pillow. The room was huge! We ate at the Chalet restaurant for breakfast one morning. It was really good. Then we had reservations for dinner on our anniversary. My filet was cooked perfectly and the mushrooms were excellent. My husband was disappointed in his prime rib because it was overcooked and dry. The service in the restaurant was kind of slow because they don't have enough help. It took three tries for them to get my husband's cocktail correct. Our server, Sheila, was very sweet and apologetic. The first afternoon we were there we went out to the terrace bar and they were closing early because of not enough help. There were very many disappointed people. Our room was on the second floor. I wish we would have known beforehand so that we could have made sure our room was on the first floor because we both have breathing issues. The 23 steps up to the second floor was very difficult for our breathing. The staff was accommodating and carried up our heavy suitcase. One of the best things about this place was the absolute beautiful view of the mountains."

"Great weekend stay. We were aiming to be secluded away from our busy, noisy city life and definitely got the calm and peaceful vibes. Owners were great and responsive from the 1st til our check-out day. Our cabin was great, spacious and clean. The property was well maintained. We used the pool/jacuzzi both days and enjoyed the peace & quiet. Will definitely be back if in the area again. Thank you :)"

"Room was clean. We had to ask for bedding for the pull out bed - I expected it to be in the closet. Kids swam in the pool. The pool room was super hot! Looks like there was duct work in the ceiling but removed. Unsure if they are working on it or not. Breakfast was great!"

"We had a wonderful stay! The room was very clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The air conditioning worked perfectly, which was especially appreciated. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Breakfast was fresh and had a good variety of choices. Everything was pleasant from beginning to end. We would definitely stay here again and recommend this hotel to other travelers!"
