"The hotel location was optimal, and my room was lovely. Unfortunately, the pool is under construction, so it was not available to hotel guests. The housekeeper ignored my Do Not Disturb sign on the door and entered the room to clean it, even though I specifically told her not to. Then another day, she opened the door and woke me up when the sign was on it. I was very annoyed and asked her why she opened the door when it clearly said DO NOT DISTURB. She didn't say why. Why have the Do not Disturb sign if its not respected?"

"Easy check in, Hotel is nice and in easy walking distance to Pier 39 and all the shops. Many choices for dining on every corner. Free breakfast is a A+ giving you multiple choices to start the day. Would recommend this hotel to stay at. "

"If you don’t plan on being in the room at all other than sleeping, it’s perfect. The showers are stained. The rooms are a little bit messy if you’re looking for a place to sleep this is perfect."

"My boyfriend and I LOVED our stay. The rooms are on the small side, but they are adorable and just like the photos. We both slept really well. The shower had amazingly good water pressure for a hotel of this age. We were impressed!There is a great pastry and coffee shop right downstairs called Stella's. It couldn't be more convenient. Cafe Trieste, just around the corner was a great find. There is a restaurant right next-door called the stinking Rose. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious, with friendly staff. We both loved this location as there are other coffee shops and restaurants very close by, all within short walking distance. The hotel staff were great, very informative, welcoming and easy to chat with about the history of famous folks who have stayed in the hotel - if you're interested.The only thing I would mention to future guests is that the rooms (facing Columbus ) got REALLY warm in the afternoon, so draw the blinds before you leave for the day. Fans are provided and they do help but drawing the curtains makes a big difference. 😊 We are already planning to return within the next few months!! "

"Clean room & staff was okay. Had 24 hour security which was nice. No valet parking like the website states, breakfast was not available & the restaurant was not open at all like it was advertised on the website either anytime i had a question in regards to either , staff had no answer. "
