The hotel deservedly won architectural awards for its forward looking eco-friendly design that enables the hotel to retain 58% of the incident sunlight in a climate in which this is a highly desirable feature. The staff were friendly and the food was outstanding. "

"The Kau Lodge is a great place to stay. Right kn the ocean, an awesome cafe and outdoors shop on the first floor and the staff is super accompdating to your needs. They ordered us a taxi transfer to the airport, let us store our bags when we did the W trek and we even checked in really late at night and someone was there to help us. The included breakfast was medicore and the rooms a tad small but everything was cozy and comfy and its super close to downtown and other restaurants."

"Beautiful Hotel in a great location ! Hotel has a very unique design and absolutely love it! Very nice and friendly staff. Restaurant and bar really good with an amazing water view. The rooms were super clean with water view as well. The housekeeping staff were amazing making us feels at home .. I highly recommend this BEAUTIFUL hotel "
