Unbelievable view from our room and it appears all rooms have this same huge window view. Interesting history of this lodge. A short drive out of town which made for a nice quiet stay. Easy to find with Maps App. Close to airport. Great breakfast. We ate at the onsite restaurant two nights. Each time was delicious and of course convenient. Open till late. Hotel staff great.

Super little hotel

Great stay here with amazing views. Our initial room had a cracked window but the hotel were able to change us to a new room! Very friendly, helpful staff and delicious breakfast and dinner in the Restaurant.

Rustic Gem

This is a wonderful rustic hotel that is away from the noise of the city, while being just a short, inexpensive Uber ride away from the town center. Breakfast is included and the restaurant is very good if you feel like staying on site for dinner. We would definitely stay again.

A beautiful old hacienda that has been modernized. Large comfortable rooms. Out of town, a short cab ride to tranquility. Nice full breakfast and dining area, and helpful staff. One of our best stops so far!

Hacienda Dorotea was absolutely perfect! Beautiful setting with helpful staff and extremely comfortable rooms. We have stayed in several hotels in Puerto Natales and this was the best by far and a reasonable price. It is just outside of town so a car is helpful, but there are lots of taxis so it is easy to get to. Overall I highly recommend!

We stayed at Hacienda Dorotea at low season so I guess we were the only guests at this time but we really loved the welcoming atmosphere, breakfast was diverse, the window view is something else, the room is clean, you feel safe even though there is no much people around the hotel area, the location is out of Puerto Natales, so it takes like 8 minutes on Uber

Every room with a stunning view. Amazing hotel!

It was the perfect location for us. The rooms are spacious, clean, and with a very unique style of reycled woods, which we loved. The atmosphere is quite special and every room has a huge window looking at the mountain range which was exquisit. Super comfortable beds as well. The staff was really nice and helpful with everything. The hotel is situated outside of Puerto Natales, so you need a taxi or a rental car to get to town. We loved everything about our stay and would definitely recommend and come again.

This hotel is a destination in itself! It was the perfect place for a relaxing vacation. I was able to book a day tour of Torres del Paine National Park that picked me up from this hotel, so even if it's not in the central part of Puerto Natales, it isn't too far out either. The staff was lovely. If you are afraid of dogs, be forewarned that there is a very friendly medium sized dog named Lucas who sometimes greets guests as they arrive.

Highly recommend

Modern rooms with very comfortable bedding. The bonus is that each room overlooks over the pasture and on a clear day, mountains and glaciers from Torres Del Paine are visible. The staff at the reception speak good English and are very friendly and helpful. We had some noise issues from the electric system and they tried their best to fix the problem. I was sick during my visit and there was no issue delivering supper to the room.

Loved it. It was our favourite hotel in our 17 day stay. Super quaint place just outside of Puerto Natales. Farm setting with rolling hills and mountains in view. Our only feedback was that the signage on the front of the building was lacking but once we got into the back door, we loved every second and were relieved!! Would recommend a sign on the front of the building just to make it a bit more welcoming on first glance and a fridge in the room :)

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The room was spacious with a comfortable bed and lovely view. This is an individual place with a great deal of attention to detail and original features. The staff were excellent and very helpful before we arrived as we needed a driver to take us to Punta Arenas, they found us a driver and helped organise everything, very much above and beyond what might be expected. Breakfast was included and was good, we had an evening meal too, not quite so good, a lot of the menu was unavailable. Nevertheless we were able to eat, enjoy a lovely view and friendly staff so we were happy. Very much recommended.

The best hotel with a quiet mountain vista view

Hacienda Dorotea is the perfect city getaway destination if you want to be a little away from the city (but not too far out from Puerto Natales only 7-8 minutes) and be with nature. In our stay we had a wonderful view of the mountain and the window is like a panoramic painting of the vista outside with the mountain being the backdrop. The room is spectacularly arranged, some even affecting the light and shadows when the lights are off and the amenities are plentiful, from its own restaurant and breakfast so you don't have to go out into Puerto Natales to eat after a long nice day from TDP. Tea/hot water are available at reception and the service from the receptionist has nothing been less than outstanding, including asking if we would like to take breakfast to go and making sure we wake up on time for the tour at 7 am. There is also a little museum detailing the history of the ranch but unfortunately we did not have time to check it out. We would wholeheartedly recommend this place and would definitely return if given opportunity to do so.

Wonderful value for moneyā€¦

Having just experienced the Explora brand up in Atacama, itā€™s a significant statement to say that Brand Dorotea - on so many levels - is better ! This place has style and quality and design in abundance. It has a certain uniqueness and thereā€™s bags of character. Itā€™s a ā€˜projectā€™ and you can sense the passion and attention to detail at every turn. The makings of a superb ā€˜rooftopā€™ bar are in progress. The views from the bedroom windows are super ; thereā€™s plenty of comfort and homeliness in the public spaces too. The food is good ; plenty of it and tasty. With a quiet location comes a little distance from the town itself. It took a focused 40 minutes to walk to the outskirts of it ; better to take a taxi. These are quickly sourced, take less than 10 minutes to get into the town centre and cost 5,000 pesos (Ā£5) each way. Worth it - on all fronts.
