"Beautiful place on the south side of the bridge in a very pretty old part of the city. Traditional style low level buildings with tiled roofs spill down a hillside from the main road. Lots of steep stone steps but a welcome escape from downtown Chongqing. Our room had a huge comfortable bed, good pillows, great linens. Fantastic rain shower and a luxurious bath tub in the bathroom. The room we chose had a view over the old buildings (now modern restaurants/tea houses/bars/shops). It’s a hugely popular area with tourists mainly young and fashionable…but everything closes at 10pm so no noise. You can walk across the bridge in 30 minutes to Raffles City. Only 15 minute walk from the cable car (ride over the river at night to get the lights). Just use the Didi ride hailing service in Chongqing…it’s an 8 level city built into hillsides with a staggering amount of steps and steep inclines! Fun place and don’t miss the lights at night."

"I truly enjoyed my 10‑day stay at this full‑service apartment rental with my 90‑year‑old father. The two‑bedroom apartment was well maintained and offered a beautiful view of Chongqing. The service team was excellent, and I especially appreciated Polly, who patiently answered all my questions and helped with every request. I will certainly stay there again on my next visit to Chongqing, China."

"Absolutely amazing staff that go above and beyond to help. Beautiful lobby and restaurants along the 'tube.' Beautiful infinity pool, including the sauna area. A top notch hotel. Will definitely stay again. Oh, and loved the room, such nice layout where from the tub there's a view to outside. Loved it!"

"Glenview ITC is absolutely perfectly placed and has incredible staff. There's two metro stations five minutes walk away, 20 metres west of the hotel, a lovely local street for fresh groceries, bakery, cafes and restaurants. Minquan Road, parallel to the hotel has a brilliant two floor supermarket next to the Lawson's entrance. It's an easy five minute walk to the pedestrian street and about fifteen minute stroll to Hongyadong. You can not beat it for accessibility. Shibati is also so close. It's clear the hotel is managed well as the staff are cheerful and so accommodating.Absolutely needed are special mention of two staff in particular. Concierge Faye walked me to a local seamstress for clothes repairs and accompanied me to the Chongqing Traditional Medicine Hospital for acupuncture. That time was a beautiful interaction between two people from quite different cultures but highlighting that we do have so much in common.That night, she left a gift and note in my room that I still have. Hostess Yuki Yang in The Team Room helped me choose two green teas and we spent time in a private booth on the 8th floor talking all things tea ceremony, farming and local life. Through a translation app I found another sweet moment between guest and staff that reflected other reviewers' same opinion. Top marks also to the doorman and a manager who called a lady to help me translate a Chinese brand of makeup from its English branding and even found the local store. Brilliant work guys."
