Clean and friendly
Handy locaction on Korats main road close to Terminal 21 shopping mall. Very nice hotel with attentive staff, nice airy rooms. I have one critisism..the walls are very thin, so conversations in neighbouring rooms are intrusive

I spent over 29000 bah on food alone. Then they charged me over 1000 bah extra to charge it on my America Express card. If you are using you American Express in THailand and they want to charge extra or not take it at all just. Stay some place that else

Hotel restaurants where a big let down at 20:30 the isaan restaurant was closed the Chinese restaurant was empty so we ate at the cellar bar the food was not upto western standards

the most professional staff and people i have seen in this setting.. i would highly recommend this facility to any traveler, business person, or visitor to enjoy their stay in Sima Thani.. from the doorman, to the front desk, to the cocktail waitress, house cleaning and fabulous food service, they should all be commended and recognized for their fine work. management should be proud.

Breakfast was a lot better when i stayed there 4 years ago! Stayed 4 nights and had the same every day especially ugly are the spaghetti with ketschup - they shoul just make plain spaghetti and everybody can mix for themselves- the chicken in ginger was only onions there was hardly chickenmeat in it- it seems the hotel is saving on everthing even the butter was whipped and presented iin little plasticbowels - mu suggestion is charge 5 bucks more and make it right

Very nice hotel
A very nice hotel with an impressive internal design with open interior surrounded by the rooms. The internal glass wall of the elevators allows guests to view the interior. Very nice room. Good restaurant with buffet service with extensive choice. But in the room there was an almost constant loud humming noise.

Pearl of Khorat
This is a pearl of a hotel that keeps on getting better and better each time I return. I truly love the refreshing friendliness of all the staff and that renovations are coming along nicely. Having stayed here many times in the past, I get really excited at returning because they have managed to renovate so much of the hotel. There are still more renovations to be done, but it's no reason to delay your stay here. Slept like a baby all night through in one of their larger rooms with a kitchenette. I can guarantee that I will return again in the very near future.

First Impressions Last
First impression was not good but it was not as bad as I feared! We entered an empty car park with no people or staff at the door. The reception was empty although quite impressive but I thought we had entered a ghost hotel! We were greeted by a receptionist who defied the reputation that Thailand has as the land of smiles and I began to think we had booked the'Bates Motel'. I'm happy to say our stay was not as bad as I thought it may be. The rooms were clean, all be it there was a musty damp smell. The breakfast had a good selection and most of the staff were pleasant enough. The buffet at night was good in the downstairs restaurant. The hotel is just off the main road and misses all taxis and baht buses, a hotel shuttle bus every hour would be an added bonus as a taxi took about 15 min after it was ordered. A new hotel has opened nearby which was cheaper that we moved to, so I fear this hotel may struggle in the future. I did like the reception area and it was being renovated so perhaps it will improve in time. Never a 4 star hotel; 3 at the very best!

Friendly staffed hotel!
Sima Thani is a great hotel with friendly staff, and will be even better soon as they complete refurbishing their property. A smudge mark on the bed sheets was not nice to see, but for the price, I'll stay again for sure. Literally next to Tawandaeng Khorat bar/pub.

Good value for money, missing a few basics.
Initial impression is of a hotel far grander than the price suggests. Very impressive lobby with a bar, plenty of seating and an elegant atrium. Good service from reception staff and porters/bell boys. Bar staff a little slow and seemingly inattentive. Only two things wrong with the room. 1) The electricity outlet behind the TV didn't work - I moved the TV. 2) The cold tap on the shower didn't work meaning the water was far too hot to shower in.

Staff are very helpful and friendly. the only thing is the location is a bit far, not in the walking distance from major shopping centres like The Mall , terminal 21 and a far away from the night market too. the hotel would be great for anyone who enjoy a quiet stay in this lovely city.

Friendly staffed and great value hotel
Sima Thani is not a luxurious hotel but a fantastic choice for rest in Khorat. Staff is all very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast selections were impressive for a hotel at this location. In my true opinion, great value for money and I will certainly come back next time.

Fancy and Clean Hotel
The hotel was very informative and they had really nice toiletries. The room was very spacious and clean though I did not have a good view but it's okay. The breakfast was good, they had a variety of dishes to choose from. The staff in the lobby was very informative and helpful and their traveling services is great! I was able to visit other places around the area and there is less tourists which I like because that means less crowded beautiful places to look at.

3-star hotel at best
I have been to Nakhon Ratchasima (Korat) ~20 times over the past 8 years. This hotel used to be considered a 4 or 5-star hotel for the area; however, in recent years it has gone down. With new hotels popping up all over the place, this hotel is quite expensive for the area given it's age and amenities. I would recommend searching hard for comparable hotels before spending what they ask for, as multiple new hotels have opened and others under construction now. My room was supposed to come with breakfast; however, when I arrived they said it did not and that you need a voucher for the free breakfast. In addition, they told me my booking was for 7 days, not 8 like I booked, and wanted to charge me more for the final night. After a few hours they realized they were wrong on the number of days. Even when I showed them my confirmation for free breakfast, they said I could not have it because it was tied to another room. Even though they admitted screwing it up, they would not make good on it. Finally, internet (wifi) is mediocre at best, and the water in the shower was not hot. Typical of this hotel and many others that regulate the temperature unless you complain. After complaining, they raised the temperature; however, it would rollercoaster from scalding to cold every 60-90 seconds. Right when you are trying to rinse shampoo out of your hair or lather yourself. My advice, avoid the hotel unless you have no other choice.
