As an American traveler, I found this to be a convenient location. Staff was very accommodating and helpful. The onsen was very pleasant and the breakfast buffet was full of enjoyable and unusual Japanese specialties (there was also Westen food options, but why bother with those!)
The size of room is sufficient to lay down 2 lugguges. The cleaning is satisfactory. Location is closed to subway exit but it take 6 min walk from subway to reach that exit. Many food choices in that area. Overall experience is good
Nice natural hot springs inside the hotel, offers free snack and fountain drinks all day, delicious breakfast buffets, one min walk from underground shopping which connects to subway station

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
If you have tattoos, don't stay here. If you need to check in early, don't stay here. If you like coffee in the morning, there is some in the room, but the coffee/cafe room is locked in the mornings. Beds are hard and there are 2 tiny hard pillows to go with it. Kinda felt like jail. However, the staff is mostly friendly and location is pretty good. Lots around. It's budget friendly, so I guess you get what you pay for.
Quiet neighbourhood, Fushimi station entrance across the street, within walking distance to Sakae for eating & shopping. Onsen small but does its job. Room small but fits our needs. We've stayed at Dormy Inn in many Japanese cities and we love it.
I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. Its location is fantastic, just a 10-min walk from the shopping district. There are also plenty of restaurants nearby. The room was clean and comfortable. However, the onsen was quite small. There was a queue to enter the onsen at night. The overall experience was enjoyable, a larger onsen area would make it even better
Amazing hotel. Hot springs is the main feature. The hotel also provides a comfortable resting room if you don't want to stay in your room all the time. There are complimentary drinks and ice cream. There is also complimentary Ramen supper in the evening. We didn't eat the breakfast because we aren't breakfast people but from what we saw, it's a substantial Japanses breakfast offering.
Excellent location with nearby stations and Luup bikes to get around. Staff were friendly and it was easy to understand the amenities in English. The hot springs and saunas are not tattoo-friendly and the signage is very clear, which was a bit disappointing but is an important part of respecting the culture. The breakfast was amazing, the first hotel breakfast that I really felt was worth it!
Like other hotels of the same chain, this hotel offers free onsen access, free ramen (2130 to 2300), free ice cream.
The breakfast is excellent, a mix of Japanese and non-Japanese items.
The staff is amazingly helpful and courteous.
The hotel is between Fushimi and Sakae stations, walking distance to Osu Kan-non temple and shopping district and Sakae / Mirai Tower shopping district.
Onsen was great. Free yakult in morning ice-cream in evening ramen at night all add up to the great stay at the onsen hotel. Directly across from Fushimi subway station made connectivity in Nagoya a breeze. Walking distance to Sakae for lux shopping and wide variety of food options. Happy to stay there again.
I booked a 3 beds room to stay 2 nights, the bathtub is small & hand washing basin is outside bathroom so not too convenient. Room is very clean & beds are comfortable enough.
Hotel has no shuttle bus to Nagoya Station it was not true mentioned on previous guests' comments.
Overall it's a very good hotel.
Close to Sakae, very convenient for shopping. Breakfast has variety of choice, delicious and is very good. A bit disappointed was that I booked the Twin Room at 6 months ago and requested higher floor, but the room assigned to me was at 3rd floor which is the lowest floor with the full view of the wall of adjacent building.
I loved almost everything about this place, it was in a great area and all the public spaces were very clean. However the pillows are a bit odd, you get two and one is hard like a brick and the other is so soft your head falls through. Additionally there were some hairs on the bed when i got there which was disappointing. The room was spacious and everything else was great. Would still recommend!

Liked: Amenities
My partner and I stayed in a dormy inn hotel in kyoto and was nothing like this location. This location had stained walls in the room and on the carpet. Very old amenities (air purifier was not working). Onsen was clean and i liked the manga room which you can bring the books in the rooms to read. Didnt go to the buffet so cant comment on that. Otherwise, an overall average stay.
I had mixed views about this hotel. It is very well located. The natural spa is nice, and not something an average hotel would have.
Free coffee in lobby.
I didn’t like the automated checkin. But it didn’t work anyway for me, so went via a receptionist.
Room was ok but a bit small, even though I booked a medium.
Shower (no bath) was fine. That and toilet were clean.I loved the ‘body soap’ (shower gell is what we’d call it in uk) they provided.
Bed was comfortable except there were only two small pillows, which was hardly enough for an adult English man’s big head.
Barely enough hanger space for someone staying four days.
I didn’t understand the room cleaning rules. I don’t recall them being explained at check in, unless I missed it. The notes in the room said to have your room cleaned was extra, which isn’t the case at other places in Japan I have stayed at, my rubbish wasn’t collected, coffee and water in room wasn’t replaced each, and towels not changed, although I got new towels each day. Was the rubbish meant to be left outside even if I was not paying for cleaning? I don’t know.
Staff forwarded my luggage to the next hotel which was a great help.
Location is centralised in the city and accessible to vatious tourist spots by walking and subway. Public bath is good for relaxing. Free laundry washing best.
