"We had to request bedding for the pull out couch as there were no sheets or blankets in the room, which they usually have in the closet. The mattress for the pull out couch definitely needs to be replaced ASAP….the amount of red, pink and yellow stains was horrendous. All staff was very friendly and helpful, especially Wayne at the front desk who helped us check in. The breakfast area was exceptionally clean and very well stocked for the entire breakfast time period."

"The actual stay at Crown Reef was terrific. The property has lots to do for the kids and the convenience of onsite dining if you want. I only gave 4 stars because the check in process is a nightmare. If you arrive before 4pm, you can’t check in without paying a fee. However the line at 4pm was out the door (I got there at 3:30 and it was 30 deep). I was in line to check in for almost an hour. Having booked through hotels.com, I couldn’t do the somewhat faster pre-check option. My advice is either pay the fee or prepare to wait."

"I really enjoyed the staff. They were all very kind. I enjoyed the beach view. Rooms were not what they showed in pictures. They showed a fridge, stove and the bed looked a lot better in photos. They showed that they had a lazy river but it was next door which was false advertisement. Everything else was ok."

"Room was clean but covers and sheets had stains. Ocean view not great. Virginia at check out was rude and didn’t ask precise questions. Bathroom was very clean no mold in shower or sink. Cleaning staff tried to clean my room early in the morning while my kids and I were still sleeping so service was refused and had to call front desk for cleaning on day 3 because it was not done. Pool slides were awesome but pool was a bit dirty. No hot tub at Ellie. Beds were comfy and TV was great. There was an unexpected parking fee and parks were always full looked like people came to park to go to the beach and had no parking pass. Lots of airplane activity disturbing sleep. Overall stay 3/5."
