I have no complaints at all, to be able to fine this nice property last minute was just amazing. From the checking to the checkout everything was excellent, definitely recommend this place and staying here again next year.

First timers at this resort, but frequent to MB

Our place to stay was not what we expected but it was very nice. The shuttle drivers were very nice and prepared.

Property was nice and clean. Check-in went well. The parking for the particular unit I stayed in wasn’t ideal and I was surprised to find that they didn’t provide additional towels.

Mostly everything was ok and acceptable during this stay. The prices this year were extremely higher than normal. The inventory was low online, but I saw a lot of units in our area empty.

The until was extremely dirty and dusty. All faucets and toilets in both the kitchen and the bathroom smelled of sewage. The bathroom tub downstairs was draining slowly. We discovered that it was filled with clumps of disgusting hair. The air conditioning unit did not work and the temperature was 80 inside of the house. I called for maintenance 3 times. Maintenance only showed once and stated that they could not fix the air compressor so we suffered in the heat. The last time we called, no one even bothered to show up. The remotes were not in sync so we could not watch the TV for most of the visit. The entire place smelled terrible. The carpet along with all appliances were filthy. The chairs in the kitchen are all broken. Even one of the chair legs would not stay on and my 67 year old handicap mother almost fell to the ground so we were unable to use the kitchen table. The whole unit is outdated and needs painting really bad. This unit still uses a key lock which was very old. It should have had a lock pad with a code. We did not feel safe in the unit. The floors were disgusting. We dropped a white wash cloth on the floor accidently and when we picked it up it was filled with gray dust. In addition to needing to fix the television downstairs, the check in reps gave us an incorrect internet password. We literally had to call maintenance for internet service, which was completely ridiculous issue that could have been avoided with the proper check in.

The “cottage”, actually more like a second floor one bedroom apartment, was perfect for our needs. Kitchen well equipped, living room area, large bedroom, terrace. Would return

Seeing is believing

The stay was truly awesome! It was a home away from with extra. Beach and pool within walking or you could call for a shuttle. The King bed was great.

Family mini vacation

Took a 3 day family trip. Checked in 1 hour early. Liked that. Cottage was very spacious. Grounds were beautiful. Plenty of hot tubs and pools to enjoy. Will definitely stay here again.

Beware of the 1 bedroom property rental and hidden $99 "resort fee" (which when exposed to Expedia was found to be bogus). Advertised it as sleeping 4. The sofa bed was unsleepable. Very cheap mattress that was all springs and middle bar. I brought it to the attention of the management and their reaction was the most disappointing feature of this place. She informed me "because we booked with Expedia, she wouldn't refund me and couldn't do anything." Her solution was to put lots of blankets on top of the mattress. Air filter in the room was growing hair, entry door handle was falling off, and phone in room was completely disconnected. Best part of this place was the beach access and pools at the tower resort. The other buildings seemed nice but I will not ever book here due to the rude management and front counter.

VRBO Does nothing to help you!

I tried over the last 7 days to get ahold of the property manager to fix our incorrect booking , because that’s what VRBO told me to do, said not to worry if at checkin it wasn’t fixed they could do something, yeah right , when your 500 miles from home with your family and all they offer you is a 2 bedroom what are you going to do but have to accept it, it was supposed to be a 4 bedroom house , and all we got was a way overpriced two bedroom cottage, my son had to sleep in the garage on a fold out bed, poor poor service from Expedia and VRBO! Would never use them again!!

I was in need of a get-away with minimal contact with others for some health-related R&R so I opted to book with the Cottages at North Beach. After a 45 minute wait to check in, I was given my key and my unit number. Imagine my surprise with I found I was NOT in a cottage but a two room efficiency with no balcony above the Sales office. Needless to say, that was not what I had envisioned for my 5 day, 4 night retreat. I was refunded my money and left to find other accommodations I specifically selected "Cottages" at North Beach in search of privacy and solitude.

They should check light bulbs in the lights, most of them were blown out. The trash bin in front of our place was filled with trash, flies and maggots.
