The rooms were very comfortable, staff was as nice and as attentive as anywhere we have ever traveled, the pool and beach areas were top tier with an exceptional view, and the food/ drinks were delicious. Location was also fantastic, walking distance to the town center, but also enough removed for a quiet night of sleep. Truly can’t say enough good things about this property and we will definitely be back to n the (hopefully not too distant) future! "

"Right in Little Venice lots of shops and restaurants Not easy to get to because the town doesn't allow cars taxi in Chora. Where we were dropped off took us 10 min to walk to hotel with our luggage but worth it. Our age worked against us. We are in our late 70’s We had 2 -50lb bars and 2 small carry-on. Loved the hotel!!!!"

"Helpful and nice staff. Free transportation to/from airport and port is a big advantage. Walking distance to windmills and city centre. Room is good only bad soundproof and weird design (glass-transparent toilet and a window, which means light comes in from there and no total darkness)."

"I stayed in Ilio Mari for one night and i have chosen sea view room. The view on day and night is breathtaking. Additionally, the staff are accomodative and helpful. I feel like im in 5 star hotel.. plus points.. very accessible location and if you want to see Little Venice its just a walking distance. Buses to Paradise beach is only accross the road. Overall experience... excellent!"

"I have to say our recent stay was disappointing, especially considering the price point. For how expensive the hotel was, the amenities were extremely lacking. The food quality in particular stood out, in a bad way. The ceviche was just the fish with seasoning on top, just poor presentation and flavor, it was more like sushi negri. The fruit oddly tasted like meat, and the pizza was very bland, far from what you’d expect from a resort of this level. Another letdown was the wellness services....

"This hotel is fantastic. Run by an amazing family. Very friendly and welcoming. They offer free pick up and drop off at the airport or the port. They rent a great service of cars, moped or ATV’s directly at the hotel. Was very helpful. Close walk into the town as well! Overall, would really recommend!! "
