"Our room was roomy and clean. There was a queen sized bed by the window, the bathroom was in the middle, and the bunk beds were by the door. The airflow in the section by the bunk beds was a bit lacking. So when we turned the temperature down to 22 C, the area by the queen sized bed was cool, but the area near the bunk beds remained stuffy. The location is a bit out of the way. It takes about 15-20 minutes to get to Amsterdam Centraal by foot and tram."

"We liked the location, near a canal, short walk to the tram and a grocery store. Also within walking/biking to Dappermrkt and Oosterpark. There was lots of space and the kitchen area was very nice. There were some maintenance issues which were fixed the next morning (clogged sink and broken fan). "The rooms are nice. Bed is comfortable. Did not eat breakfast there because they did not offer À la cart ,could only get buffet breakfast which was very expensive. The restaurant was good for dinner. But it only opened at 5pm. No bar service before 5pm. There was full street construction in front of Hotel so some bars and food places were not open until 4 pm. "It is a great location if you are embarking or disembarking on a cruise. However, it is a bit of a walk into the city (approximately 10-15 minutes). The reception area was very helpful in storing our luggage until the room was ready. The concierge was very helpful as well. When checking in, the receptionist said breakfast was included with our package and the restaurant opened at 7:00 AM. I told her we had to leave at 5:30 AM to catch our flight and she offered to have a box breakfast ready...

"What we like the most about this hotel is the size of the room, it’s generous size if comparing with other 3 stars hotels. Location wise is brilliant and in walking distance approx 15-18mins to those canals (if you like to walk). But what I dislike this hotel is the house keeping services that they don’t provide room cleaning daily, house keepers only came to clean the toilets and changed the fresh towels daily. However, I still recommend to stay here if you visit Amsterdam."
