"We greatly enjoyed staying g at Vinhpearl Landmark 81. It is in an excellent spot for shopping and enjoying the riverside park. There is a Metro station close by, though it’s a bit of an adventure walking on the street to get there. I would highly recommend it for both the atmosphere and the breakfast buffet featuring both traditional Vietnamese and Western choices"

"The room was not as described and not as confirmed in my receipt. Staff only communicated with WhatsApp. It was expensive for the quality. No one is there to help you in a timely manner. There were cigarette ashes on the windowsill, fingerprints on the tv set. There was no minibar as described. A pool was in the listing and confirmed in a text but there is no access to a pool. It’s all inaccurate and not a hospitable experience. It was stressful and it makes me not trustful of Hotels.com I had to find new accommodations in an emergency because I did not feel comfortable at this place. Hotels.com and the host refused to reimburse based on this misrepresentation of the accommodations and conditions. Very upsetting. "

"DO NOT BOOK HERE. ILLEGAL BOOKINGS. Where to start. It’s absolutely not a hotel. Firstly, it’s illegal. There’s signs everywhere. It’s crazy that hotels.com advertise them. You don’t even get access to the pool, despite them using it in their pictures. They don’t offer any help with check in, it’s really backward. The key was difficult to locate and just in an unlocked postbox. The room was a mess with sticky stuff all over the floor. And to top it off there’s no working air con, roadworks outside, and no sound proofing. Avoid at all costs. No luggage storage either. Whoever manned the WhatsApp kept deleting messages too. They said I can’t use the pool and when I complained to hotel.com they delete their message. Avoid at all costs!"
