"The location was excellent, it is the only hotel I have ever stayed in that has let me into my room before check in time and I was shocked. They made my day with that . Staff is extremely helpful and always go the extra step and very friendly . Well appointed and done up nicely. Only negative is it’s a little dark on the inside .Sorry for that. But I would stay there again."

"There were 2 of us on this trip to Venice then the Dolomites. We flew into Venice around 3p. Getting transportation from Marco Polo airport was easy. We used a bus. It dropped us off at the standard stop in Venice. From there we were able to wslk while pulling our luggage for just a few blocks; however, one of the 2 bridges that we had to use to go over canals did not have a ramp, and it was a little difficult. The hotel staff - Vladimir and Marco greeted us, took our luggage and brought us...

"This was an amazing property - extremely well located. Within easy walking of the waterfront (cruise pier), and several major attractions such as the Roman theater. The property itself is amazing. The lobby area is very nice and comfortable. Elevators are a nice size and pretty fast. The room we had had a nice queen size bed, a very efficient bathroom with a walk-in shower. The entire hotel is set up as an extension of its name - The Modernist. Extremely clean facility - the breakfast...
