"Staff was great, a beautiful historic place with lovely staff and very nice rooms. Kevin and Pierre were kind and very helpful thoughtout our stay. Tricky to find though and you can't just pull up to the front door. Let them know when you're going for directions. Car is not a good idea in this very busy part of the city."

Our host, Paulo, gets a special mention for always giving us his attention and assistance during our stay and also before we arrived by WhatsApp which was very reassuring. "the location is excellent. short walk to the Basilica. the room is spacious and great. the not so great things about the unit: 1. you need to be geek to check in, it took me forever just to open the main door 2. there’s no elevator, i need to drag my luggage and take around 20+ steps 3. the curtain are so thin especially in the bathroom. 4. the hot water, once the other room used the hot water, you need to wait for 45 minutes to have a warm water for shower as per owner"
