Myself and two friends stayed here the night before our flights home. This hotel was an easy 15 min walk from the train station, the room had a lot of space and it was in a quiet neighbourhood. The reception is not in the same building, it’s a little walk away so two of us hung out in the park with all our bags while one picked up the keys.

We had been traveling around Germany and this was the last place we stayed at prior to our flight back home the next day. Check in was a little confusing as the check in desk is in a whole other building about 3-4 minutes away. once we checked in, we were very happy with the amenities and cleanliness of the property. All of that quickly changed as when we got to the room, it was hot and stuffy. we opened the windows and quickly got bombarded with bugs coming in the room. once we got that under control, we decided to take showers to get ready for our trip home. I went first, and the shower flooded the bathroom floor. when my husband went to shower, the shower not only wasn't draining, it again, flooded the bathroom floor and then we lost all water. there are signs to not flush anything other than toilet paper in the toilet as the system was sensitive. We did not flush anything in the toilet, and when the water turned off in the middle of my husbands shower, he checked the toilet and tried to flush it and it immediately rose all the way to the top. so now, we had no water, a flooded bathroom, and an almost overflowing toilet. I called the number, and the very gracious lady came right away and was able to clean everything up. we felt so bad that she had to deal with it, but after reading some reviews, learned that this was not the first time guests had flooded bathrooms. She was extremely nice and so apologetic. this would be a great stay once all of the plumbing gets fixed.

Bugs

As soon as we arrived at the room we noticed bugs in the curtains. There were dozens of them and it was clear that the cleaner or anyone else had done nothing to them. We had to move them out of the windows ourselves one by one. After this we also had to check the bed mattresses etc for other bugs. We slept very badly because of this. We had an early wake up call for a flight in the morning.

Der Check-In über den PIN Code hat super funktioniert. Leider waren es bei Ankunft schon 27,6 Grad in unserem Zimmer. Die Zimmer haben leider keine Klimaanlage. Die Sonne stand den ganzen Nachmittag auf unser Fenster gerichtet. Wir haben nachts das Fenster aufgelassen, trotzdem war es immer noch super warm (kein Durchzug o.ä.). Das Hotel liegt recht ruhig, aber durch das offene Fenster war die Straße stark zu hören. Wir haben wegen der Hitze & dem Lärm nachts kaum ein Auge zubekommen.. Ansonsten war das Zimmer gut. Bad sehr modern, alles sehr sauber. Die Therme ist zu Fuß in ein paar Minuten zu erreichen.

Hebeanlage im Zimmer sehr laut. Geht man nachts auf die Toilette wacht der Partner durch die Hebenanlage auf. Außerdem ist die Glaswand in der Dusche zu kurz. Wenn man nicht aufpasst, steht der Badboden schnell unter Wasser. Wir hatten ein Zimmer zur Südseite und morgen bereits 26 Grad im Raum, bei einer Tageshöchsttemperatur von 20 Grad. Im Sommer ist es bestimmt nicht auszuhalten. Da gehört eine AC nachgerüstet. Parkplätze gibt es es nur eine Handvoll vorm Haus. Kommt man abends spät von der Sauna zurück, muss man schon teilweise echt suchen. Ansonsten kann ich es sehr empfehlen. Die Zimmer sind groß und modern und sehr sauber. Frühstück hatten wir im Apfelbaum und das war einfach perfekt. Sehr große Auswahl und alles sehr lecker. Ein großes Lob an die Dame im Service im Frühstücksraum. Sie war immer sehr freundlich, hat sich sofort gekümmert, als mal die Semmeln aus waren z.B. und war ständig am richten und sauber machen. Im Winter kommen wir gerne wieder. Im Sommer aber dann wohl eher nicht, wenn im Haupthaus nichts frei ist.

Alles perfekt, nettes Personal und tolles Zimmer. Das Frühstück im Haupthaus war ebenfalls sehr gut. Das einzige Manko war die Hitze im Zimmer, der Ventilator hat aber geholfen.
