"In addition to good accommodations, the location was just outside the walled old town. The town center was about a 2.5 one way walk. It was a plus being able to close the bedroom doors to separate the bedroom from the living room and kitchen. There is a grocery store just outside the hotel fence. About the old town: The economy in the city seemed to be a bit depressed with a number of storefronts closed permanently. While we took a break at the public park across the street from the police station, we observed several drug deals taking place. We made a personal decision not to be out after dusk. And an FYI, there is a free mini bus that will pick you up near the Thiers entrance outside the wall and take you as far as Place Pie in city center."

"We stayed there just one week after its opening, and it’s clear the property has a lot of promise. The location is excellent, the design is tasteful, and the atmosphere is refined. However, as with any brand-new hotel, there are still quite a few operational kinks to work out. From service coordination to small details, you can tell the team is still finding its rhythm.
