"When we walk in Sean welcomed us, introduced himself, shook our hands and told us how much he appreciated us staying there. The room was clean and comfortable. We were staying one night and traveling down further in Virginia, that evening we couldn’t find a decent hotel so we drove 60 miles back to stay another night. All of the staff was very friendly. If I go back to Virginia I will definitely stay there again. Thank you Sean for your great costumer service!"
"Boar’s Head is an iconic Charlottesville property. Is accommodations are quaint, although sone are quite dates. The food is fine but I think there are other restaurants that are better. Overall, worth the price. "
"The desk chair (Room 200) was deplorable. The covering was totally worn and a bed pillow was used in an attempt to cover/hide it. The chair’s appearance totally detracted from the appearance of an otherwise attractive room. "
"The manager was very nice, as was the rest of the staff. The manager seemed to be there most of the time. Breakfast was hot and tasty with eggs, bacon, toasts, bagels, cereal, fruit, several coffees, yogurt. The fresh waffle machine worked. They even had a certain exotic tea that I liked on hand, (Bigelow Green Tea with Ginger). And breakfast on the weekends extends to 10am, which is a Godsend after a night of partying.
