"Staff treated us Royally. Met Giovanni at check in, gave me a list places great fining options (we chose Duke’s on the River). He, Ray and third helper worked us through key issues (key card kept by phone demagnetized it). Ray plucked my daughter’s earring from the bottom of the pool. Really nice welcoming attitude overall."

"When I first arrived, they told me my booking was cancelled, so they couldn't find it. Eventually, they found it. The room was nice, one night we needed blankets there were all out. Had issues with the heating as it took a while to come through the vents. Had to call maintenance a few times. For the price we paid breakfast should have been included. Overall its close to the bus terminals and the local bus stop is outside the hotel. Overall it was okay depending on what your needs are."

"We typically stay in name brand hotels when visiting family in the Gettysburg area, but we decided to give downtown a try this trip. We did not regret it. The hotel is lovely and so, so convenient. It was great being in the center of the action! We will choose Hotel Gettysburg over the chains when we visit in future."

"Only overhead lighting, just 1 towel per guest- no hand towel, no access to drinking water or ice, unappealing breakfast food "

"When arrived no one was at the front desk … waited a while, worth a mention since this happed twice more. Room was spacious as was the bathroom, however the vanity was tiny. While on the bathroom hot water was not available after 9PM…. What was that about. In and out of the property was a deal, no night lighting and somehow the front desk as was indicated by the GPS was actually the back of the property… just a worthy mention. "

"Staff was awful! Told us she was to busy to wait on us and to go sit and reserve on our phone! We did then told us because we used a 3rd party if we couldn't get a refund if we didn’t need the 2nd night. "
