Clean and beds were comfortable. They are using portable heaters so not the warmest but we were not in the cabin much during the day. The view of lake is nice. They forgot to stock extra rolls of toliet paper so we had to go to the lodge to get more. Breakfast is one cereal or instant oatmeal and only available for an hour. The owners were pleasant. They did not respond in the app so you have to call them.

Will always stay here

We've been coming here for years, so we can ski at the best Nordic Center in Colorado. Also we've come here to mountain bike, hike, and canoe in summer. Anna and Jan are always friendly and helpful.

The property was a beautiful surprise. Gorgeous drive. Staff was great welcoming and helpful.The cabin was perfect and had all necessities. Comfortable bed with space heater more than enough to keep room at perfect temperature. We were there for one night but will be back.

The couple who run the hotel are very nice. No wifi in the cabins, only in the main lodge. The hotel lodge was not very warm or inviting. Nowhere to sit other than the bar tables or dining room. The free continental breakfast was very disappointing… just cold cereal or instant oatmeal. There was only one choice for a regular breakfast. Not all the items on the dinner menu were available, however the Polish items that were available were delicious. Not many outlets in the cabin. The provided toiletries appeared to be forgotten items from previous guests. A coffee pot was provided but no actual coffee. The cabin was very clean and the balcony and view were very nice.

We’ve been going to Alexander Lodge for over 5 years now. We love the owners! They are always very friendly and accommodating. Feels like family. Very clean cabins, great food, great drinks and center-ally located around tons of lakes. We’ve always gone up for snowmobiling and had a blast. I’m sure it’s great during the summer months also.

Clean and cozy

Charming little cabin. Clean and comfortable. Loved the deck overlooking the creek. My only suggestion would be to have an outlet in the bedroom area and a couple more pillows. Definitely will be staying again. It was a perfect little weekend getaway!

A cabin with a view.

This is our 2nd stay in cabin 2 at the lodge. This room has a fabulous deck and view of lake Alexander. We are hikers and this area cannot be beat for the number of trails and lakes. To top everything else off the food served at the lodge is outstanding. We are going back next year for a 3 peat.

Cabins are clean, and a little on the small side. The hosts were communicative and helpful and the breakfast in the lodge in the morning was basic but nice. Overall, it was a good stay, water could’ve been hotter in the showers.

Was great place to stay for the 2 nights were there during the down season. Very friendly family owned. Only recommendations we woukd make is to seperate the hot from the cold breakfast since oatmeal is hot as well. Just a little confusing but even if you get confused, the price is very doable.

We were craving a night in the pines in our own cabin with a comfortable bed and private bathroom and this hit the mark. Bonus of a super friendly staff with tasty Polish beer and sausage, plus free breakfast and they let us book just one night! The exterior lodge roof was being reshingled but always good to see improvements occuring. Not fancy, more homey and relaxing!
