Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, room comfort
It’s more design hotel unfortunately the building quality isn’t as good as we expect. The room door simply can’t close correctly. Except that the stay is good and the staff provide xcell service.
If you want to dine in the restaurant do remember to book in advance. It’s a popular restaurant and you won’t get a seat without reservation.
Hotel in the middle of nowhere so not much choice of food, was a set menu and that was it, 15 min drive to nearest other options to eat. Room was clean and modern, very comfy and the garden bar area was very nice. i didnt see any other people there so was very quiet. didn't use the spa and the breakfast i gave a miss as it was 20euros for a continental (way too expensive for that). was passing through on business only stayed 1 night probably wouldn't stay again as the wifi was rubbish (essential when your working).
The hotel has a great restaurant we very high end food. Very secluded it is probably ideal for a quiet weekend or stay. However not ideal for the business traveller. Wifi is very slow...
Helga & Thierry welcomed us personally and made us feel like we were staying in their private home for the duration of our stay. The service was impeccable, the food was exceptional, and the overall hospitality experience was world class. This is a unique and beautifully decorated contemporary hotel that I would highly recommend.
we stayed at Hotel Thierry Drapeau for 2 nights on our way from Paris to Bordeaux. Our main reason for staying at the hotel was to experience Thierry Drapeau's La Table ** Michelin restaurant and it did not disappoint. La Table is by far most exquisite dining experience we've had. We had the 12 course chef's menu including the most expansive cheese cart I've seen. The service equaled the food. The ultra modern hotel is nestled in the middle of the Vendee area in a small village that provided the ultimate private and secluded setting. book this experience...you will not be disappointed!
