The owner of Las Ardillas was very helpful and considerate. The breakfast was big, pancakes, fruit and drinks. Read the fine print as there is a surcharge for the breakfast. The room was a great deal for the price. We recommend staying at Las Ardillas.

Good price-quality ratio

Stayed three nights there. The price-quality ratio was really good. The breakfast was sufficient enough and made according to my timetable since my visit took place outside the high season. But most of all I want to thank the manager. He assisted me in reserving the zip-lines and the jungle visit. He also provided a laundry service at a very short notice. Pura Vida attitude at its very best. Kiitos. Gracias

The shower's hot water is not strong enough, so you need to turn the water volume way down to have a decent temperature shower. The room sound insulation is very poor and you can easily hear the tv from next room. The room service is ok, and the bed was not set every day.

Superbe mais bruyant ( sauf si pas de voisin )

Chambre spacieuse ( en fait c était un appartement) isolé du reste. A l arrivée accueil parfait. Dommage que les murs soit pas du tout insonorisé. Puisque on vous dit que c est le voisin qui ronfle. Bref on a adoré sauf pour dormir.

Alles o.k.!

Das Las Ardillas ist zwar keine Luxuxresidenz, aber es bietet für seinen günstigen Preis alles Nötige. Die Einrichtung ist vollständig, das Zimmer war ruhig und sauber. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich den freundlichen und hilfsbereiten Eigentümer und das ausgezeichnete, reichhaltige Frühstück.

Clean, quiet and affordable!

Perfect for us! Don't expect a fancy "room with a view" but Cabinas las Ardillas is clean, quiet and affordable. Family run, the hosts are extremely friendly and accommodating. Excellent breakfast and very convenient location. We would definitely stay there again!

Very good location and Very well situated. Owner is very nice and give good advice. Did not really stress with payment, he helped us in finding the right excursions and things to do around town. Food was very good too.

Loved it!

Stayed there for 2 nights with my family. We booked the family room. It was huge with 4 beds, full size refrigerator & kitchen. The room was clean. The owners are incredible. They are very friendly, and even helped me to dry my wet clothes. The location is very convenient. There are couple of restaurants and a grocery store right next to the hotel. For the price this place is a great deal. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again next time I’m in Monteverde.

The staff is amazing they help you book tours if needed. Many restaurants in the area and close to everything like the reserve. The rooms are clean, breakfast delicious. Loved this place!!

Nette Unterkunft

Die Unterkunft liegt nicht direkt im Ortskern (z.B. Busstation), sondern auf einem Hügel. Es sind aber diverse Restaurant und auch ein Supermarkt nebenan. Zu Fuß ins "Zentrum" benötigt man ca. 20 Minuten, mit dem Taxi kostet es ca. 1500-2000 Colones. Die Zimmer sind nett und geräumig, mein Bett war bequem. Das Frühstück ist sehr gut, es gibt frische Früchte und jeden Tag etwas Abwechslung (Ei, Platanos, Würstchen, etc.). Die Besitzer sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit, haben mir eine tolle Hängebrücken-Tour im Nebelwald und ein Shuttle nach Samara organisiert. Alles in allem ein sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.

For the price this place is a great deal. The owner and staf were awesome and really went above and behind to make our stay comfortable and accommodating. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again next time I’m in Monteverde. The owner recommended and helped us book our tours too.

Vous serez accueilli par une famille sympathique, Diemer en particulier, il pourra bien vous conseiller sur les excursions de la région. Vous recherchez une petite chambre simple avec salle de bain privée et un bon déjeuner pour bien démarrer la journée, pour vraiment pas cher, c'est pour vous ! Il ne faut pas oublier que c'est une cabiñas, pas de luxe, c'est comme au chalet avec le bruit du vent et parfois un coatie qui passe sur le toit, vous êtes à la montagne. Vous y êtes pour dormir , déjeuner et passer la journée à l'extérieur. En plus, nous avons craqué pour la petite Mila, le petit chiot de 2 mois de la famille qui est adorable ! Bon séjour !

Väldigt bra service!

Rent rum och ägaren hjälpte oss med att planera både vår vistelse och vår resa vidare. Väldigt hjälpsam och trevlig! Han gjorde verkligen det lilla extra för att hjälpa till. God och stadig frukost. Vi råkade äta på Charlys på hörnet en kväll, gör inte det! Gå istället till sodan la tortilla som ligger i närheten eller gå ner till centrum. För att komma från centrum är det branta backar uppför, men det gick absolut att promenera.

We stayed at Cabinas las ardillas fro 3 nights during Christmas vacation. This is a family run business and the owners are incredible. They are very friendly, helpful and made breakfast as if we were a family. Great breakfast made by mama. The rooms are small though. We were 4 including two kids, not enough room for luggage. But if you are just looking to crash this is a great place. The location though is very convenient. There are couple of restaurants right next to the hotel and a grocery store too. They helped us with the bookings for our tours. Nice place to stay within a budget.
