"Whilst the infrastructure and location were classic Tuscany, the hospitality (staff engagement & food) were underwhelming. It never felt welcoming & it was challenging to discern who were the owners, staff or guests. It was often unclear how their systems operated, ie how to purchase wine/drinks, when dinner or breakfast would be available & the service was extremely slow. "This was the most magical place ever! The hotel is small and intimate with only 6 rooms and the owners live on the property, so they bend over backwards to help you or get you anything you need. It felt more like a bed and breakfast with the most gorgeous rooms, an amazing pool, and breathtaking views. We messed up and didn’t rent a car and the owner Raffaele literally came and picked us up.
