History of Mold

The discovery of a remarkable golden cape locally in 1833 tells us that Mold was settled asfar as the Bronze Age. In the17th Century the coal mining industry began to becomeestablished, and today Mold has a lively population ofover 10,000 people.

Mold is a lovely town, we live quite local and only stayed at hotel to attend a party and felt it would be a treat to stay rather than getting taxis home
