This was our 2nd visit to Best Hotel Mojacar & it still came up to expections spacious room with sea view & a small fridge, decent sized bathroom, & good selection in the restaurent, plenty of space around the pool for topping up the sun tan, there is a shop on site & a supermarket nearly opposite the main door, we did have one problem on this visit , a few families with children arrived & left them unattended most of the time , very noisy around the pool, but they were also unattended in the restaurent, once again very noisy but also fingering the food was the worse bit, this will not put of going again .

Great hotel
booked 4 nights, stayed for a month, the staff are friendly, and the place is clean and bright, the facilities are good and it never felt overcrowded, even when the hotel was full over the may holiday weekend, The majority of clients while we were there were Spanish, so not surprisingly the food was catered to them, sometimes it was not quite so hot from the buffet, however at every meal and breakfast they were cooking different foods fresh in the restaurant, the food rotated too so different things to find each day, as well as all the staples, there was always plenty there too! If there was an issue for me, it would be that there is a stage near the pool where on hot and busy nights the evening entertainment took place, so if you have a room overlooking the pool, on some days don't expect to get to sleep until after 11:30 The room was large, has a fridge, hair dryer and a free safe, although it may be a little dated now, it was in good repair and freshly painted, i found the two large beds comftable, and there are a plenty of seats, and wardrobe space (10 hangers) you are provided with some toiletrie items, handwash, shampoo and body milk, and some other bits and pieces (there was even a couple of free drinks), the rooms are serviced every day! you can also get a kettle, lounger towels, and a iron from reception,after leaving a returnable deposit.. there is a bar, and the prices are ver reasnable, i think overall i would say a very good hoterl and recomend! i e

Depends what you like from a holiday
Rooms very clean and loads of room at the pool and pool area was very cleaned. Buffet was very good value and friends used it regularly On the downside it’s not a quiet hotel so if you want a quiet time at the pool , it’s not possible as music is loud and music doesn’t end until 11.30pm and then guests hang around the pool area until 1am so it’s hard to sleep . I did mention this to management and their opinion was that all guests need to be accommodated and I could move but I had a sea view room so how would it change ????

Weekend in mojacar.
Given this was a stay in 'covid times' we were a little concerned but the hotel was very clean..always somebody cleaning and disinfecting.staff were respectful but saw them reminding people about some measures. Location was great,facilities very good.Ate in the restaurant one night with an amazing buffet for 15 euros pp.Breakfast was equally good..great selection. Bed comfortable,shower great.Really impressed and will visit again.

Distancing measures an issue in restaurant
Overall the hotel not bad. The pool area really nice and the pool fab. In these difficult times the hotel did their best, but the restaurant was their downfall. There were blue lines on the floor for distancing, when getting your food, but guests totally disregarded these lines as greed overtook their senses, not the hotels fault but maybe a member of staff should be there to implement these very important rules. We did feel uncomfortable and so spent as little time in there as possible, gobbling our food down as quickly as possible, it was not very relaxing. The plates were really dirty, you had to search for a clean one, as was the cutlery, filthy. We had taken our own cutlery anyway, so we were ok. The hotel is very nice, in a great position but there needs to be more done to be safe in these worrying times.

It is ok to spend some time with kids. It is a bit outdated but clean. Staff was very kind. It is right in front of the beach and the Swimming pool is good. Not much to do around the hotel and you have to take the car to go to a restaurant. Food was a bit below average. Also there were hand sanitizer Spots everywhere and the provided you with a CoVid kit with hand sanitizer, gloves and a good quality facemask. Overall it is a good hotel for a short holiday break, with good entertainment for kids.

The hotel and our overall stay was awesome. The only thing to note was that the receptionist had the British flag in her name tag, which implies that she speaks English and she did not at all. Other than that it was great. We upgraded to a room with a sea view for only €3 extra per person per night.

Pool was great. But loud entertaining every night till late was heard throughout the Hotel. Reception did not give us info about costs of meals, borrowing towel, minibar drinks. Wifi was terrible in the room. Balcony door didn’t have handle on the outside. Plug was only next to one bed.

Problem of no handrails on steps and over bath.
We had a good stay for our 55th wedding anniversary. Our one complaint was lack of handrails in bathroom and on steps from reception to bedroom. Reception and our bedroom was all on floor 1, but there was steps from reception to corridor. My wife could not go up or down steps without a handrail. And handrails in a bath is a safety issue. A bath can be very slippy. Regarding the issue of getting the loaded trolley from reception to bedroom, we had to go across foyer to main lift, up to 2nd floor, along corridor then down in the other lift to 1st floor. Which came out opposite our bedroom. That process had to be repeated in reverse when we were leaving the hotel. But other than that we had an enjoyable stay, good size bedroom and the choice of food was good.

La estancia ha sido agradable porque al ser Octubre el número de personas alojadas no era muy grande y los servicios del hotel son suficientes. En temporada alta las instalaciones del hotel son insuficientes para atender de forma adecuada al número personas que pueden alojarse. Ni los ascensores, ni la piscina ni su entorno, ni el parking son suficientes.

Prima hotel maar rumoerig en verkeerde locatie
prima hotel, maar wat ons betreft nooit meer in zo een giga groot hotel met "entertainment" ofwel pokkenherrie tot 11 of zelfs 12 uur 's avonds toe. Ook de locatie lijkt mooier dan het is, wel direct aan zee maar op 3 km van het "leuke deel" van Mojacar Playa, dus eigenlijk nogal afgelegen. Alle boeking-sites zouden bij dit type hotels moeten vermelden dat het voornamelijk een familiehotel is met 80% Spaanse families met kleine kinderen, en dus minder geschikt voor rustzoekers of senioren, dat zou een grote verbetering zijn !

La conservacion de las instalaciones deja que desear. Parece más un hotel de 3 * que de 4*. No tiene termostato de temperatura en las habitaciones. Sólo 3 velocidades. Al entrar siempre un olor a tuberia muy desagradable. El bufete aunque es abundante, siempre es mas o menos igual, salvo la temática de la noche. Estube dos dias y lo preparado en el momento es lo mismo. Dos dias el mismo pescado y la misma carne. Calidad media baja de los alimentos. Café de maquina. La zona tranquila, pero para comer o tomar algo en la noche hay que coger el coche. Despues de haber estado y pagado 316€ por dos noches de diario en media pensión, solo puedo decir que me parece caro, ya que no alcanza las 4* ni por aproximación.
