We stayed as a family of 5 from England in July - so out of season for this ski resort. That meant the hotel wasn’t overcrowded and was very comfortable. The bedroom was comfortable and spacious. Soft drinks and tea / coffee are available at any time free of charge. The staff are helpful and friendly. The food is a buffet service and...

The location is beautiful (you'll probably need a car to get to it though). The hotel was very well laid out and the pool was great too. Food was really, really good (clearly a source of pride). I used it as a base to see Neuschwanstein and hohenschwangau castles and do some touring by car. What made the stay wxtra-special was the effort the staff went to to make a non-german speaker like me so welcome.I will definitely stay again, you should stay too!

The only minor issue was the open-plan shower area, particularly with a large mirror directly opposite. Fine for a couple, but if you are travelling with family or friends, it offers very...
