"Everybody was great kind professional, and helpful. I haven’t stayed at the Hyatt in a while, but they even allowed us a late checkout at 6 PM Prior. We stayed at the Hyatt a lot, but I haven’t done any business with them for five years and they were still amazing. I would stay there again. In fact I probably come back and do a Whighan tour and since we stayed there till 6 PM we spent a lot of time at the bar so they definitely made extra money that they probably wouldn’t have made if they didn’t allow us a late checkout. "
"Beautiful historical building in the center of town. Lovely, welcoming lobby with a wine bar, gorgeous room flooding with natural light, close to all of the restaurants and shops downtown. A 10-min walk to Luther Burbank Gardens. Staff is super friendly—everyone! A nice little continental breakfast too. "
Hotel Centro Sonoma Wine Country, Tapestry Collection Hilton
8/10 Good
"A fairly new, 4-level hotel acquired & operated by the Hilton group for the last 3 years. Like most Hilton-operated hotels, it's well-maintained, with standout features such as an on-site bar/resto, access doors to front & rear side parking, a pool, a gym, e-tap doors, and secured front/rear door access after midnight. We had used this hotel twice (once in a room with 2 queen beds and the most recent in a Deluxe room with 1 king bed & a sofa bed) during trips to a nearby casino-spa. Primarily, we liked this hotel for its quiet and convenient location. Their hotel is in spitting distance from Costco, where you can also gas up at lower prices. Restos, specialty stores, delis, fast-foods, and banks are all about half a mile away from about 3 commercial hubs that straddle the area. Check-ins are quick thanks to fast, roomy elevators. There's also a small sundry shop next to the front desk, and you can heat up food items in the microwaves next to the ice machines on all levels. All rooms have safe boxes, a fridge, the latest model LED TVs (at least 40"), fast WiFi, a work desk, USBs (USB-A only) for charging your gadgets, and ample movement space. The beds are firm with clean linens and towels. Both rooms we checked into had only shower stalls (no tubs), and we found the water pressure in both was on the "low" side compared to what we have at home for those refreshing showers. We truly like this mid-$$$ hotel (took off 1 star), except for one add-on: a $9 daily parking fee!"
