"The biggest issue was the noise. On Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights, the noise level inside the hotel was extremely high. There was constant loud talking, door slamming, and general disturbance in the hallways, to the point that it was impossible to sleep. The noise continued until around 4:30–5:00 AM, which is completely unacceptable. Another major problem was the cigarette smell. Even though we were in a non-smoking room, the smell of cigarette smoke was extremely strong, as if someone was smoking inside our room. It was so bad that we woke up multiple times during the night around 3–4 AM because of both the noise and the smell. We had to open the window to try to get fresh air, but the smell did not go away. Overall, the experience was very uncomfortable and frustrating. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone who values proper air quality, and a quiet environment."

"The breakfast was a complete let down.. I am a Pescatarian, no fish/ Salmon available.. no beans , no hash browns, no plant based foods available.. For the price, a complete con.. , The reception staff, not very helpful, the Porter, just want to get you a taxi, so they earn commission… The house keeping staff , the lady who cleaned the room, were very nice.. Also the pool/ Gym opens at 10am- 10pm… most people want to use before they start there days… steam wasnt working.. aHave to buy a cap, if you want to use pool… Ask the receptionist, about any nice places to eat, totally unhelpful.. porter, ai felt was rude, asking the reception about costs for shuttle, Porter says you have to talk to me… he was worried about his commission.. wanted 45 Euros.. got a yellow taxi outside the hotel for 32 Euro to IST.. It was because the short porter was rude , I decided to not go for shuttle.. then made enquiries for the Taxi, and saved money.."

"Beautiful hotel. The room was very comfortable. We had breakfast which had lots of choice. A manicure set as part of the compliments in the room would have been useful, but appreciated what was provided and the daily bottled water. Overall very enjoyable stay."

"Our first stay at a Ritz hotel and it was AMAZING the location was walking distance to many restaurant, shopping. Highly recommend to stay. All perfect. Having Nobu in hotel was a plus. "

"The negative reviews (Taksim location) are definitely competitors sabotage! Ignore the noise and book it! Expedia has the best price! From live chefs cooking stations to pristine rooms (sanctuary of comfort), and Iconic Landmarks Views, it’s an incredible value! Highly Recommend at The Marmara Hotel in TAKSIM District in Istanbul (5 stars hotel). The BREAKFAST - bounty array of fresh dishes, and made to order stations that cater to every craving; premium quality of food, bread, fruits and drinks, simply unbeatable price! The LOUNGE ACCESS is a magnificent view to landmarks with affordable value for all they provide- the curated drink menu and gourmet small plates not to mention the artisan pastries, made me feel like VIP! The SPA & The POOL The Starbucks next door. We were ASTONISHED by all the beauty of the hotel (better than Central Park’s NY hotels). The videos & website’s hotel cannot capture the magnificent views, the superb hospitality all the staff who provided a royal treatment in a sophisticated atmosphere!
