"I appreciated that the owner let us check in early, and the coffee area and yogurt juice water are appreciated. My negatives: bed very uncomfortable with a terrible mattress, no insulation so sound from other guests very noisy, other guests talking until very late on the deck was very inconsiderate, we had to be up at 5 and they were up till well after midnight. I woke up with a sore stiff back and no sleep and quite grumpy (my husband not impressed at all). Also the bathroom sink is plugged."

"It’s very out of date. The heaters were falling apart. They did not have industrial washers/dryers for laundry. Construction next door. Used a real key instead of key cards was good because didn’t have to worry about resetting but copies could have been made which was a bit uncomfortable. No ramp for strollers or wheelchairs. Breakfast only consisted of baked goods, yogurts, bagels, toast, coffee, juice and water and little fruit. The window in the room we were in didn’t have locks on them. The...

"Premium price, motel experience. While the room was clean, this stay offered zero value for money. The layout made no sense—the TV was inexplicably mounted facing the wrong direction. The gym was a joke. Breakfast was a major disappointment with absolutely no vegetarian or vegan options, and even the bananas were completely unripe. It feels like management is just checking boxes rather than focusing on actual guest comfort."

"get confirmation on distance from airport and approximate cost for transporting or if shuttle bus available. confirm if there is a shuttle bus available. We were told when calling in for the shuttle bus - we did not have a reservation - took about 20 minutes to get them to find our reservation. After a 5 hour flight we were (Comox - Halifax) upset and very tired. Once arrived at hotel we were treated very well."
