"One of the more pricey options for accommodations in the area. They provided a shuttle service to and from the alpine station, which is great, as the walking is not was a realistic option as from what I could tell, there was no walkable path to and from the hotel from the station. During my stay, there was not much around the hotel, so we were mostly confined to within the hotel during our stay. Our room was for 4 people and was fairly large. Our room did not have beds but futons instead, which I personally did not like but others did. The breakfast and dinner we got was very nice and most unique meal I experienced during our trip, providing great traditional Japanese food with great variety for both meals. The public baths here were the best during our trip. The baths were large with both indoor and outdoor baths. The Outdoor baths provided great a great view of the mountain which was very nice. they provided yukatas for guests but even the largest men sizes they had were too small for me, but my shorter family members said they were nice. Staff provided explanations and set our schedule for our next days trip to the mountain which was nice. Our stay here was a little pricey, but for the dining experience, good Onsen and location, our stay here was well worth it."

"Less expensive and budget friendly. Amenities available like Onsen and table tennis. Laudry is also available. Distance is the disadvantage. It's a little far from the city center although still walking distance. "

"Very friendly and helpful front desk. The tatami room was very clean as was the bathroom and private onsen on the terrace. Both the Kaiseki dinner and breakfast were excellent with seamless service. A very nice stay at an excellent hotel in an out of the way village."

"I visited Hakuba Sun Valley with my partner and 2 children and we LOVED it! The location is amazing, directly opposite the chair lift, and the staff were helpful, friendly and attentive. We will definitely be staying here again next season!"

"Budget friendly pension, you get what you pay for. If you're just there to ski, want to save money, and don't care for a fancy place or amenities. Room was decently spacious, we had a quad room 2 beds with 2 more beds with the loft so could fit up for 4 people. Pros: Walkable to Goryu Ski Resort, there are a couple of bars/restaurants within 2 minutes of walking. There is a place to store your skis/snowboard equipment and its a heated room so your items can dry. The owners will cook for you (extra cost) for breakfast or dinner (never tried it, but others staying here said the food was solid). Con: You can only use the shower from 4pm - 9:30pm and its on the bottom floor. There is only 1 shower from what I saw. Ended up just using the onsen at Goryu Ski Resort every night after skiing to shower. The main shared bathroom only has 1 stall for the men's side, but there is one downstairs on the main floor too. "

"Ski in ski out location. Fantastic hotel with large rooms and indoor fire pit. Staff were extremely helpful. Having a vehicle is preferable to go to and from town but they do run a shuttle Service free of charge."
