Great hotel, very relaxing. I would definitely recommend. Also, I had never heard of Waitsfield before staying here and it was a very nice town. Some great views of fall foliage, great food and just a cool vibe all around.

Great friendly service. Appreciated the ease of entering and leaving the room. Room and bathroom was immaculately clean. Space was incredibly small. Banged into the tv walking around the end of the bed to go to the washroom in the middle of the night The bathroom was claustrophobic. Sink must be the minimum legal size. Shower was hardly big enough to turn around in. Finally, the place wasn’t near anything a half hour drive from Waterbury. The drive was beautiful and the area around the lodge is gorgeous. Don’t get me wrong. The place was t bad. Just much smaller than I expected. Well worth a stay if you’re ok with the space.

There are significantly better options

This hotel is possibly the worst hotel in the area. I’ve stayed here twice and both times I’ve regretted it. Paper thin walls, dated ascetic, and zero staff. If you want stay at a boarding house then go for it.

Loved convenience to waitsfield and mt ellen. Have stayed in past and will stay again in future. Floor boards above unit 12 could use some nails, kinda noisey. Fully expect it will get fixed.

Good spot for resting after a day on the slopes. The “no check in check out” process is awesome and makes it so easy. Room was just what we needed - nothing fancy but clean and comfortable. Walls are a bit thin and we could hear a group in their room talking but thankfully everyone seemed to go to bed by midnight. Would definitely stay again while skiing nearby!

Simple room but two queen beds. Only issue is if you have Room 7, you’re directly under the stairs to the entrance and it can be quite noisy early and late in the day

We had 2 rooms and loved that they shared a common hallway so we could easily go between rooms. Lodge and rooms were immaculately clean. Only complaint was we had 1st floor rooms and windows werent able to be locked due to air conditioner venting system. Would definitely go back and pick an upper level room. Innkeeper was available and responded promptly to any text messages.

Ski lodge so everything in room is practical.. plenty of hooks, bathroom shelves, mat for boots/shoes, vinyl.flooring instead of carpet. Community room well.stocked with snacks, games. Clean not cluttery.
