Clean room, the hotel is very close to metro. Staff were very friendly. The area where the hotel is located is very safe. The only thing the bed was very hard or firm.

Staff was helpful, the room was quite ample, but the lighting inside the room could be improved

Couldn’t get any good sleep. Bed was okay. Streets were super noisy. We could hear our upstairs neighbors almost every night and we heard EVERYTHING 😭😬
Staff were super helpful and kind.
I’m an Anerican USMC Veteran staying here now my 3rd week and looking forward to a longer stay. I’m learning Spanish slowly and visiting as a guest in Mexico City. I feel very very welcomed here at Escala Siglio XXI. Everyone is friendly, even though my first default words are in English. I would recommend this to all business and business/personal guests. I can’t speak for the double bed rooms or what floor they’re on, but the stay I’ve had is one word: tranquil.
“I really liked Hotel Escala Siglo XXI in Mexico City. The room I stayed in was on the fifth floor and it was quite spacious. The bed, the linens, and the pillows were all comfortable, and I really liked the interior décor.
In terms of areas for improvement, sometimes there’s quite a bit of noise from the first floor, but it didn’t affect my ability to rest. Overall, it’s a good place, though the location isn’t the most central. However, there’s an Ecobici station just two blocks away and the Chabacano metro station is also nearby.”

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
A very good value for the money. Courteous staff and check in. Good restaurant onsite for breakfast. Room was clean and the bed comfortable and well made. Big shower and excellent water pressure and temp. Negatives - dated furniture and fixtures. Floor seems to be a cheap almost paper vinyl in the main room, other areas were tile floors. No coffee maker in the room. Old style keys on the doors don’t seem secure. No deadbolt on the door
Very pleased to extend my stay! Unbelievable attention to detail by maintenance and housekeeping, especially by Olivia on my floor! Could not find a fingerprint on mirrors or glass or wood surfaces. I have never seen whiter sheets or towels or a tighter made bed outside of the two main hotel chains. Chairs, table, bed, bathroom meticulously reset all areas and surfaces including under personal items like toiletries on sink while all belongings on desk and bedsides unmoved and untouched. Exceptional!
Unbelievably peaceful and quiet and restful hotel. Really affordable for the comfort and peace. Abigail and Enrique at the Front desk super kind! Front desk and staff all met speak necessary basic to good English and more than happy to use Google translate for other languages intelligently! Entrance has very nice large signs and great windows and natural lighting. I like the view from my room and that there’s a small opening under the huge window for fresh air the blackout curtain is black however no soundproofing inside building so may be a problem if next to loud kids, no more than traffic outside it’s a city. Restaurant is named “Que Rico” menu online. Room Svc same price as seated $160-$260MXN food was nice and fast! 5-10 mins! I didn’t see a wheelchair ramp but it seems accessible through their parking garage and yes there’s an elevator. Theres some comfortable seating in the lobby and couches on every floor. There’s a convenience store every block most 24hrs and more food street vendors than cars. Shower nice and hot. I’m very comfortable and staying a few more days!
Wonderful and tranquil stay! I had outstanding interactions with the staff from Abigail and Enrique at the front desk who had even made a phone call for me and Propina from the restaurant was so cheerful in the morning bringing up room service but the attention to detail of the housekeeper on my floor, Olivia, was my favorite thing about this hotel. I’ve never seen a more tightly made bed, or cleaner surfaces like desk table mirrors and sink and every time she made my room the curtain was the exact same height the chairs in the exact same position the trash bins in the exact same place and even things like the pump nozzle on the hand soap pointing forward it had a zen like feng shui feeling. The things I left on the sink or the bedside were respectfully moved just to clean and then replaced in a more organized fashion. My paperwork and other personal items on the desk were unmoved and well respected. I felt comfortable leaving my second phone charging and other items there and the mutual respect of my property and the room was superb. Thank you Olivia and great job to the whole team! I had originally planned on staying at a few different hotels to see different areas but after the first night of total silence and the next morning when even a vacuum couldn’t be heard I felt like I was home. I recommend this hotel and hope you enjoy your stay!
Peaceful hotel, exceptional attention to detail! I am still learning Spanish and i often use a translation app on my phone, which everyone at the hotel is very willing to intelligently utilize. I’m always impressed by Abigail’s professionalism and equally Enrique! They both will greet me and are happy to kindly explain and answer any questions I have. I had accidentally dropped an AirPods case in the lobby while siting and couldn’t locate it because it was literally a few feet away- I asked as the desk and Enrique had found it and kept it safely. It’s incredibly easy to be comfortable here whether I’m working or having zoom meetings or needing to unplug and have peace and I enjoy it! I always remember to tip housekeeping and restaurant staff even if it isn’t your custom. I did notice that there may only be one dual socket power outlet over the beds and another by the sinks yet none under the solid wood desks, so for business travelers I recommend a multi adapter and power bank. Additionally water is available if you ask for it, Water is HOT bed pillows and bedding extremely comfortable.everything is just the way I like it. Well done.
