Clean room, staff were great, location is amazing - close to many major tourist attractions, restaurants, and shopping However, be aware that outside noise is near constant and walls between rooms are far from sound proof.

If you want to stay in the historic district, be in a walkable area, and do not mind the loud atmosphere then this is the place to stay. The hotel itself is in a very historic building. The hotel breafast was a buffet and something i would definitely skip because there are way better options outside.

The location was thr best. In the heart of the city and walkable to so many historical places, not to mention in front of the Zocalo and Cathedral. The staff was very attentive and we loved the historical hotel. We would love to stay again.

The location is amazing, it's very reasonably priced and the building has charm pouring out of it. The rooms are fine (it's old) and the staff are lovely. I very much enjoyed staying here. The view is UNBELIEVEABLE.

Classic Mexico City - make history at history

Beautiful step back in time at the Majestic! Carlos is a wonderful source of knowledge and is so courteous! Definitely take in the sights at the terrace for dinner under the lights

The key to the door did not work even after 3 visits to the front desk. We were on the third floor and taking the elevator was not much of an option. Our original maid was terrific (her weekly shift ended Wednesday), but her replacement was not even close to good. The last three days we returned to unswept floors and unmade beds. Otherwise the staff was wonderful!

My go to in CDMX , a traditional big city hotel with all the services one would expect. old fashioned in a good way with even an elevator operator and fountain in the lobby . the huge windows open on to great views of the Zocalo big high ceilings and thick draperies old deep tubs for soaking in hot water . rooftop restaurant is convenient and perfectly adequate open late excellent service ...the \\hotel may be not up to date for some... heavy dark furniture , but it is all serviceable , note : no direct vehicle access from pedestrian streets and can be noisy from Zocalo crowds and buskers very Traditional and a good value for walkable to centro locations
