"Impeccable Service and Wonderful Atmosphere. The Ellison does things exceedingly well. This jewel of a boutique hotel meets all of the right standards. The rooms are lovely comfortable and beautifully clean. Nothing was out of place. Everything was done to a level of high expectancy. The rooms are very inviting, views pleasant, showers great, everything was on par for a wonderful and relaxing stay. The hotel itself is very attractive and well designed. The restaurant Milo was great with delicious food. The bartender Zach was terrific. The restaurant manager so accommodating. AJ at my check in was sublime. The entire staff at this hotel was seamlessly efficient and effective. Jarod that changed out bulb and cleared a slow drain was without exception thorough in everything he touched. I didn't catch everyone's names, but without exception they were excellent in their positions. If I called for anything, it was there in a couple of minutes. The employees are obviously treated well here and seem to enjoy their jobs, and it shows! The rooftop pool and patio are nice as well. To boot you can't beat the surrounding area that is this hotel setting. I'm well please to say the least and I cannot wait to return! I simply loved it and the parking was free. Mr. Ellison the writer that this hotel was named after, the writer of The Invisible Man, would be so pleased. I felt seen! Impeccable Ellison, simply impeccable!"

"Everything was nice except the pool. It looked nasty. Water had a lot of hair floating in it. I figured the pool would’ve been cleaned daily due to the amount of people that were swimming. "

"Our suite was very hot I would not recommend staying here in the summer if the ac doesn’t get any colder. Our pull out couch got stuck and maintenance could not fix we ended up not being able to use the couch for sitting and my friend had to put the mattress on the floor to sleep. Maintenance said it happens often. No free breakfast like most hotels offer. Our room did not have an outside view so felt like we were in a dark box. Room lighting was very dim! I wouldn’t waste my money here again. "
